The Guinea pig FAIM3 (Fas Apoptotic Inhibitory Molecule 3) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Guinea pig FAIM3. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Guinea pig FAIM3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Guinea pig FAIM3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Guinea pig FAIM3. You can calculate the concentration of Guinea pig FAIM3 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Sturdy. Everything came in one piece and the instructions were some of the clearest I've encountered for Amazon furniture. Took about an hour for me to muscle my way through with manual screwdrivers only. I do not recommend a drill unless you go slow, because screw placement will make or break this for you in my opinion. Problems I encountered and how I overcame them: Drawer was rickety, kept catching when trying to pull out. I had to go back and tighten the tiny black screws on the rails. If they are not as flush as you can possibly get them, they will cause the wheels to catch. Once I got them as tight as possible, the drawer pull out was much smoother. Getting the first set of rails on. Space was EXTREMELY tight and frustrating. I ended up using a small screwdriver from my house, pressing it tightly with one hand, and using a pair of pliers to turn the screwdriver. Like a socket wrench type action. This sucked, I can't lie. And it wasn't possible to put them on earlier due to the cam bolts/screws under the rail. But I got through it. Overall, this is worth the money as long as you are willing to take your time and line things up properly and really use some elbow grease to get the screws in straight and flush.
