Coated Tablets (Thiamazole, also referred to as methimazole) designed for treating hyperthyroidism in felines.
Active ingredient: Methimazole
Pack size: 100 tablets in blister packs per box - 2.5mg, with a 5mg option also available.
Indications for use: For the management of hyperthyroidism in cats prior to surgical thyroidectomy and for ongoing treatment of feline hyperthyroidism.
Dosage: The initial dose of FELIMAZOLE Coated Tablets is 2.5mg given every 12 hours. After 3 weeks of treatment, adjust the dosage according to individual serum total T4 (TT4) levels and clinical response. Modifications should be made in increments of 2.5mg. The maximum total daily dosage is 20mg, divided, with no single dose exceeding 10mg.
Storage: Keep at room temperature between 15ºC - 30ºC.
