Several Shades Of The Same Color is Patricia's first album for Spectral Sound - produced in conjunction with his own label Active Cultures. Solo project of Max Ravitz who is also in Inhalants (with Jahiliyya Fields), Masks (with Arp), Patreke (with Terekke), and Pulpo (with Bookworms), among many other projects. Tips for listeners: consider the moment in which you exist; pay attention to how these sounds evoke physiological (rather than cognitive) responses. Listeners may find themselves deriving immense physical pleasure from exposure to these sounds. Inability to achieve such pleasure is likely attributable to over-analysis of the aforementioned audio content - or to improper amplification. Each of Shades' three LPs features suites of tracks that, considered alone, comprise their own distinct, unique worlds. Part 2's "The Electric Eye is Upon Me" swirls endlessly, while "Shiba Inu Dub" is cut for the floor and coy as it's namesake. Any emotional associations incurred while listening come at the listener's discretion. Furthermore, the identity of the author and/or their passions regarding the recordings herein shall bear no weight on the listener's experience. This body of work is not intended to generate ideas; rather, it's goal is to produce physical sensations in the listener. Taken altogether, Several Shades Of The Same Color is kaleidoscopic, a multi-faceted techno trip. Listen in full, or listen in part. Absolutely one of the best chew toys I've ever bought my dog

Absolutely one of the best chew toys I've ever bought my dog. She's a lab-pit mix, about 70 lbs, loves to chew, and is almost pure muscle. There are no half-measures with my dog. When she plays tug of war, she's playing to win. Often, she ends up whipping her entire body back and forth violently to get that thing out of your hands. Playing with her feels like you're pulling against a freight truck. I've never had a plush chew toy last longer than 15-20 minutes. It rips, and suddenly out comes all the stuffing and squeakers. Impossible. I just stopped buying her plush toys altogether, which was such a shame because I know that's her favorite thing ever. But when I saw this on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, nothing is truly invincible. BUT THIS THING IS TOUGH! It's my dog's favorite, she loves the squeakers so much, and so we've played tug of war or keep away nearly every day since I bought it. Yeah, there's a small hole in it now, the fur's a little matted and it doesn't look at pretty as when I bought it, BUT IT STILL LIVES! It's lasted three whole months, which is miracle given my dog's seriously aggressive play style. Squeakers are intact, the black lining has held up, I really can't believe it. I've even given her free reign with it over the past couple of weeks, as I have another one saved for the day this finally dies. Even though she's allowed to take this thing behind the couch and really go at it in a serious chew session, she can't break that black lining. Amazing product.

Cute? Yes! Durable? Not so much…

Upon opening this toy I was hopeful that it would last my dog (medium size beagle mix) quite a while. While he enjoyed it, he was able to start ripping it up less than 24 hours after getting it. Now 10 days later, he’s completely destroyed it. He was able to rip open all layers of material, pull them apart, and tear all the squeakers out. While the squeakers are large, they could be a choking hazard for a large dog. Based on the advertised “durability” of this toy and how little time it lasted my dog, I would not purchase it again.

German Shepard destroy

Cute, soft, quiet and durable
This stuffy is HUGE! I was expecting it to be half this size. We're happy to have a stuffy that does *NOT* have a squeaker. We're finding it to be very sturdy. My 4 month old puppy is a terrier mix and she loves to attack and shake stuffies and you can't tell this thing has been abused at all. Looks the same a 2 weeks later as it did new. It's one of her favorites and we love it because its quiet. Should last a long time.
This is an update 4 months after purchase. The red squirrel continues to be a favorite with my puppy. With other plush toys, she tears them apart in 10 minutes. This one, somehow, has lasted months. Over time, she has pulled off the tail, the ears, and two of the legs, but the body is still intact. Amazing!

My dog freakin’ LOVES this
Favorite toy of my dog. He’s a heavy chewer - and yes, he’s chewed the tail off and one of the ears - but he carries it around all the time - plays with it all the time - even sleeps with it. And it has held up for months. I’m getting another one just to have as a backup as I don’t think he can live without it. Also love that the eyes are embroidered and not plastic so he won’t accidentally swallow them. Best toy ever.
