Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels sale in Geneva on November 13 will provide an overview of 20th century jewelry, with pieces spanning the Art Deco period and glamorous 1930s, up to modern-day mastery from jewelers like JAR.

The sale features several pieces formerly in the collection of Princess Salimah Aga Khan, including striking Colombian emerald and diamond pieces, dating from the 1970s. The jewels are currently touring the world before the auction.

“This season’s auction will offer a walk through the most important themes of 20th century jewelry,” says chairman of Sotheby’s international jewelry division, David Bennett. “There are exquisite Cartier pieces from the Art Deco era. Emblematic pieces from the ensuing decades, created by master jewelers including Harry Winston, Bulgari and JAR, bring to life key moments in modern jewelry design.” The sale includes pieces from an “important Asian-American collection” and work from houses including Cartier, Bulgari and Chaumet.

Princess Salimah Aga Khan was born Sarah Frances Croker-Poole in 1940, in what was then British India, and went to finishing school in Paris. One of the last debutantes to be presented to the Queen at the Queen Charlotte’s Ball in London, she went on to become a model, leading a glamorous life as a girl-about-town in London. After a brief first marriage to a British aristocrat, she married Prince Karim Aga Khan IV in 1969, the couple stayed together for 25 years and had three children.

Salimah Aga Khan (née Sarah Frances Croker Poole; born 28 January 1940), also known as Begum Salimah Aga Khan, is a former fashion model and an ex-wife of the 49th Ismaili Shia Imam, the IV Aga Khan Prince Karim Aga Khan.

This is an awesome toy for dogs and cats!
Color: red
This is such a cool toy for a dog or a cat. I bought it for my 28 pound Aussie doodle. She’s slightly laid up after an injury recently so I’m trying to come up with things she can play with in the house without excessive running. This totally keeps her engaged and she loves it. But I have to watch her because every once in a while she’ll just catch it and try and chew on the ball! But I’ve been sharing it with my neighbor who has a cat. She’s borrowing it today and her cat loves it too! It seems pretty durable overall but it certainly doesn’t want my dogs’s jaws trying to crack it into. You do hear a humming noise while it’s running but I think that’s to be expected. Mostly I just love how much it entertains both dogs and cats!!

So cute and entertaining to watch!
Color: pink
Bought for my miniature schnauzer. She didn’t know what to think at first but loves it now. It’s so much fun watching her play and keeps her busy! My dog isn’t much of a chewer and loves the movement/chase of this toy. Wouldn’t recommend for big dogs or chewers as there’s a plastic piece that can come off.

I just recieved this yesterday 5-23-2026. My new puppy loves it. But after it stopped working and I went to recharge it. it just will not recharge. I currently have it still trying to recharge. so I am not sure what to do other than trying to charge it. I may need to look for something else.

Nice Idea But Won't Last With A Frenchie
Color: orange & blue, Color: orange & blue
My dogs loved the balls, however, withing 30 minutes, they were in pieces. Be careful because these parts can become choking hazards. Maybe they should try to make them a bit more sturdy, then I would buy again. Wish I could give them more stars because I liked them and the dogs did too.
