The 2.5 cm felt balls are strung from a high quality 9 inch diameter hardwood hoop. Felt balls can be slid along the string to achieve the specific look you want, they stay where you place them. Mobiles are made to hang from a ceiling hook, which is an add on to this listing for your convenience. The 2.5 inch hook is a white rubber coated metal hook that screws easily into all drywall and plaster without the need of a stud.

Length of whole mobile: 28 inches

If you want your mobile longer because of high ceilings, just ask me for more string to be added to the top knot. I will not extend the strands on the actual mobile, it will look silly. Extra string is free, just ask in the "Personalization" section.

DISCLAIMERS
1) Mobiles are not to be hung from the side of the crib, that is why I offer a ceiling hook within the listing. The long strands pose a strangulation risk so I will not sell them to customers intending to hang the mobile from the crib. I HIGHLY recommend hanging your mobile over a changing table or rocking chair where you feed the baby. This eliminates all risk of strangulation or choking because the baby is always with you in these locations. Hanging mobiles over the crib is not recommended, I personally hung it over the changing table for all three of my babies, it made changing cranky babies diapers so much easier because I distracted them with the pretty colors and movement!

2) Take care when removing the mobile from its packaging. By nature they are easy to tangle. They are packaged in the best way possible for their travels, but hastily taking them from the packaging may result in a tangle. When opening, unroll paper while keeping contents snug inside. Locate the top knot that is taped to the cardboard and take directly to the prepared ceiling hook. Then pull on felt balls until you've placed them where you want them. Refunds and returns will not be granted when customers do not carefully remove the mobile.
