A pale golden color, the Gasnier Les Deux Rives offers aromas of honeycomb (the real stuff, not the cereal) oven-warm freshly-baked bread and ripe nectarine. The dry, full-bodied palate has more in common with a great Saumur than Vouvray with its big waxy texture and unique mineral expression. The aromatic themes are reprised on the palate and given forces and structure from fine acidity.
