Omega Chronomètre 30T2RG Ref. 2364 – The Soul of Precision in Postwar Steel (Circa 1946)

Omega’s Chronomètre 30T2RG is a revered artefact of horological legacy—an expression of technical mastery housed within the modest nobility of a stainless steel case. Produced circa 1946 under reference 2364, this rare chronometer encapsulates Omega’s commitment to precision and integrity during a period when excellence was not proclaimed, but practiced quietly. At its heart is the celebrated calibre 30T2RG, the chronometer-rated variant of Omega’s storied manual-wind movement—arguably the finest of its era.

This particular example, with its sharply preserved 34mm case and original untouched dial, is a true survivor. Steel-cased 30T2RGs remain elusive, with most having been redialed or cased in gold. This watch stands among the few that whisper authenticity and rarity in equal measure.

Sculpted Steel – Defined Lines, Untouched Character

The 34mm stainless steel case retains its original lines and geometry, having avoided the polishing wheel’s erasure of history. Every bevel, every lug edge remains clearly defined—a rare condition that speaks volumes about the life this piece has lived.

The case, with its honest brushed and polished surfaces, offers a restrained yet resolute wrist presence. It wears with the confidence of wartime resilience and the grace of postwar optimism.

Its steel Omega-signed crown and domed plexiglass crystal complete the vintage aesthetic, with period-correct authenticity found in every detail.

Dial of Time-Honoured Patina – A Chronometer’s Canvas

The original dial is a textbook of mid-century design: a two-tone silver finish marked by elegant golden Arabic numerals and an applied Omega logo. The patina, developed gracefully over the decades, adds warmth and depth—never contrived, always honest.

Subsidiary seconds rest at 6 o’clock, quietly reinforcing the precision pedigree of this chronometer-rated instrument. The golden tones of the dial, against the steel case, present a rare aesthetic harmony that speaks to the scarcity of steel-cased 30T2RGs—far less common than their gold siblings.

This untouched dial sets the watch apart from the many that have been restored—this is the collector’s ideal: originality with character.

Inside the Legend – Calibre 30T2 RG

Powering this piece is the legendary Omega calibre 30T2RG—a movement that helped cement Omega’s reputation as a chronometric powerhouse. This manually wound chronometer is prized for its robust construction, fine regulation capability, and understated beauty.

Freshly serviced and offered with a one-year warranty, this movement is as ready today as it was in 1946, delivering reliable performance with every wind.

The 30T2RG, with its Breguet overcoil and adjusted regulation, was Omega’s finest offering before the age of mass-produced chronometers. Its presence here makes this reference 2364 a mechanical treasure in a deceptively humble shell.

Why This Watch?

This Omega Chronomètre 30T2RG Ref. 2364 represents one of the rarest and most honest chronometer wristwatches of its era—steel-cased, untouched, and alive with patina. It is not just a fine vintage watch; it is a preserved fragment of Omega’s golden age of accuracy.

For the collector who values authenticity, subtlety, and mechanical significance, this piece offers the complete package: aesthetic purity, technical prestige, and historical weight.

Whether worn with appreciation or stored as an investment in mid-century excellence, this Omega is a watch that rewards discernment.

Incredible quality, just buy the right size (I did not)
Color: A Silver, Size: 12 Ounces, Color: A Silver, Size: 12 Ounces
For anyone interested in this product, here’s a quick guide (from a coffee snob) • 12oz (what I got, pictured) - fine for small drinks (standard mug) at home. one drink, and you never plan on using this for any larger drinks • 20oz - the home kitchen sweet spot. if you’re filling a Stanley or Yeti traveler this is probably your size. One caveat, you’ll have no wiggle room and will be maxing your milk froth to the brim. if you like cappuccino’s get the 32oz. • 32oz - this is what’s behind the counter at every coffee shop you’ve ever been to. if you’ve worked a bar shift at Starbucks you’ve held this pitcher a thousand times. If you like a lot of foam (cappuccinos) i would suggest anyone serious about at home use to get this one. I’ve worked in coffee shops since I was like 16 and I still ordered the 12oz like a complete idiot. I posted comparison photos if you want a good laugh. The pitcher is smaller than a regular coffee mug. Not a travel mug, not a big mug, just a normal everyday mug. Bigger than the pitcher. I measured nothing and paid the price. Returning it and ordering the 32oz of the same exact pitcher so that should tell you the quality is legit. Feels exactly like what we used behind the bar, well made, solid, nothing cheap about it. Just bought the wrong size. For anyone also about to make my mistake: the 12oz works if you’re making one small drink at home and that’s it. The 20oz is probably the right call for most people, fills a Stanley or Yeti no problem. The 32oz is the coffee shop size, if you’ve ever worked a bar at Starbucks or anywhere else you’ve used that size a thousand times and it’ll feel right immediately. Great pitcher. Wrong size. My fault entirely.

Excellent in every respect, regardless of price. Just get the right size for your needs.
Color: A Silver, Size: 12 Ounces
Over time I've accumulated several milk steaming pitchers, a few of which were 3 or 4x the price, and yet I keep coming back to this one. The build quality is surprisingly high, the volume markings are very clearly etched on the inside and easy to read, it has a nice no-drip spout for pouring, and it still looks as good as new after daily use; No sign of wear and tear or staining on the metal even with high heat milk steaming. This is one of those rare low price/high quality products I only rarely run across.

Color: A Silver, Size: 12 Ounces
This stainless steel milk frothing pitcher is a great addition for anyone who enjoys making lattes, cappuccinos, or homemade coffee drinks. The pitcher feels sturdy and well-made, and the measurement markings inside are super helpful for getting the right amount every time. The pouring spout gives good control for latte art, and the included art pen is a nice bonus for beginners. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the stainless steel material cleans easily after use. It also works well for steaming milk, mixing drinks, or even small kitchen tasks beyond coffee. ✅ Pros: * Durable stainless steel construction * Easy-to-read measurement markings * Great pouring spout for latte art * Comfortable handle grip * Includes latte art pen * Easy to clean ❌ Cons: * Smaller sizes may not hold enough for multiple drinks * Metal exterior can get hot when steaming milk * Latte art takes practice for beginners Overall, this is an affordable and practical frothing pitcher that works great for home baristas and everyday coffee lovers alike!
