Sharyl and Windy Downwind and their children travel from their home on the Red Lake Reservation in Minnesota to powwows all around the region. For the past year, their oldest daughter, Shian, has been honored as junior princess for Bug-o-nay-ge-shig School. At the Leech Lake Memorial Day gathering, Shian will hand over her crown to the next princess. Later that summer, the family attends the Red Lake Fourth of July powwow seeking healing and comfort. Windy is mourning his mother, who recently passed away, and also honoring her by dancing at the powwow. At ceremonies and in daily life, Windy and Sharyl celebrate Anishinaabe culture by teaching their children traditional skills, dance steps, and lifeways, all part of the circle of community and the seasons and life. Looks Sharp! Stiff, Balloon Comfort!

I purchased the PJ PAUL JONES Men's Oxford Button-Down Shirt as a gift, and it comes with a mix of strengths and trade-offs. The buttons are plentiful and high quality, and the inclusion of a couple of spare buttons is a thoughtful touch. The color is a deep, rich shade just as I hoped, giving the shirt a sharp, professional appearance. The fabric has a noticeable texture that looks like cotton, but the heavier thread count gives it a sturdier, more rugged feel, (almost outdoorsy) rather than the soft, premium cotton I expected. My biggest concern is that it may feel scratchy against the skin and less comfortable for long hours of wear. The shirt is also quite boxy in shape, with little to no side curve, which limits ease of movement and can cause it to crease or untuck when bending or sitting. Overall, it’s a durable, well-constructed shirt with a polished look, but comfort and fit may be an issue if you prefer softer fabric and a more tailored, flexible cut.

Nice quality, true-to-size, great value!

Very nice quality for the price point. 100% satisfied, and will definitely be purchasing more. I found this to be true-to-size > I bought a medium, and I am 6’2’ with a 40” chest 15.5” neck, 30” waist - “athletic” build, and this has a nice, nearly tailored, fit to it. The brown buttons (on the white) are a nice stepped-up touch, which had multiple people ask me where I got my shirt.

Great Quality.

Bought this for my son to attend a wedding on the beach. It looks very good, the color is beautiful and is true to size. He is 14 so I got size 14. He is 5’7” and weighs about 110 lbs. the pants length was perfect too. Just needs a little ironing.
