Limited edition vinyl LP pressing of this 1983 album includes insert/booklet with liner notes and pictures. Can you imagine a Dutch band playing top-notch '60s-'70s sounding Brazilian music? Originally released as a private pressing, Palmeira's only album will please any lover of bossa, jazzy and latin-fusion sounds. Beautiful femme vocals, superb musicianship featuring the awesome lead electric guitar of Jeanette van der Pligt, self-penned songs and choice covers of Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto and Rita Lee among others. Palmeira was a Brazilian styled band formed by Angelo Noce Santoro (ex-Cosmic Dealer) along with some Dutch, North American and Brazilian musicians. The group existed from 1979 till 1985, playing lots of gigs at jazz and night clubs in Holland. In 1983 they released their only album in a private edition of 500 copies on Angelo's ANS label. A cult item for fans of Bossa-Jazz, it was first reissued as a limited edition in Japan, now long out of print.

Great value, does the job
Paper plates can vary widely with individual plate strength, resistance to sogginess, size and more. These are plain paper plates that we use in a plastic holder. Nothing special, but they do the job as expected.
The real selling points are the fit in my holder (these are appropriately snug suggesting size integrity) and do they hold up long enough for a meal. Thumbs up in both respects. They are standard thickness, so you can expect them to work with light loads. Plunk some heavy food on the plate and you better either double-up or use a holder like I do.
The one thing I don't like is the difficulty in separating out individual plates. Without this effort you inevitably peel out 2-4 plates at a time. (Maybe these are supposed to be double layer? Could be.)
The best reason for buying this set is the low cost per plate. We use these for every meal when it is just my wife and I and go through a lot of plates. The value for the money can not be beat.

Sturdy paper plates
I ordered "too" heavy paper plates. A paper plate is used daily to zap my bacon in folded over paper towel. I use them daily for various kitchen tasks.
