"Necessary brattiness" is the motto in Speedy Ortiz's dauntless new collection of songs, "Twerp Verse." The follow-up to 2015's "Foil Deer," the band's latest indie rock missive is prompted by a tidal wave of voices, no longer silent on the hurt they've endured from society's margins. But like many of these truth-tellers, songwriter, guitarist and singer Sadie Dupuis scales the careful line between what she calls being "outrageous and practical" in order to be heard at all. - "Twerp Verse" was tracked in Brooklyn DIY space Silent Barn, mixed by Omaha legend Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley) and mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Emily Lazar (Sia, Haim, Beck). The record pulls from the most elastic pop moments in Squeeze's Argybargy and the seesawing synth-rock of Deerhoof and the Rentals. With Dupuis on guitars, vocals, and synths, supporting guitarist Andy Molholt (of psych pop outfit Laser Background) now joins Speedy veterans Darl Ferm on bass and Mike Falcone on drums - and together they accelerate the band's idiosyncrasy through the wilderness of Dupuis' heady reflections on sex, lies and audiotape.

Great cell phone mount, super easy to install!!!
This is an awesome cell phone holder for the car! I have a 2022 X3 and it works perfectly and is super sturdy. It was so easy to install and I love that the directions include a QR code you can scan and watch a video on installation making it even easier. Once you put your phone into the holder it stays put and is in the perfect location so you can see the screen without taking your eyes off the road. I definitely recommend this cell phone mount for your vehicle.

Great product but a bit expensive

Well built. Comes with cable management. The rear mechanism doesnt use adhesives, so it comes loose after heat and rough roads. Just put some sticky tape and itll work great. Charging speeds are fast and most importantly the ball joint is tight and doesnt shake over rough roads.

Good looks that betray a flawed locking mechanism
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
I wanted to love the Spigen TapLock—its sleek design and promise of a secure, easy-to-use latch mechanism had me hopeful. At first, it felt solid, and the concept of a spin-to-lock system was clever. But after just a few weeks, the latch mechanism started failing. It wouldn’t adhere properly anymore, and the spin-to-lock feature became completely non-functional—no amount of spinning tightens the lock. Fixing it? Near impossible. The design buries the mechanism in a way that makes repairs a nightmare, and there’s no clear way to realign or replace parts without breaking it further. It’s a shame because the build quality isn’t terrible otherwise, but this critical flaw tanks it. One star—looks good, works briefly, then betrays you. The charge speed is pretty good.
