Beck kept fans and critics guessing about how he'd follow up Sea Change and in 2005 released the genre-mashing Guero which shot to #2 on the Billboard Top 200-his highest charting album to date. Beck's eighth album saw him reuniting with the Dust Brothers with an assist from producer Tony Hoffer (Midnite Vultures), for a tour de force of Latin rhythms, rhymes, guitars, beats, samples, 8-bit electronics, turntables and vocoder for a fun and freewheeling ride through rock, hip-hop, boss nova, country-blues and soul. Album opener and lead single, 'E-Pro' went to # 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart, while 'Girl,' 'Hell Yes,' 'Go It Alone' (featuring Jack White on bass) and more became instant fan favorites. The album was a hit with critics as well with New York magazine enthusing, 'Beck integrates his personae into a fairly seamless whole, and his knack for synthesizing disparate musical elements (hip-hop, robot funk, blues, country, jazz, garage rock, etc.) extends beyond samples and individual tracks. The songs migrate smoothly from one to the next; there aren't any throwaway numbers to sabotage the album's momentum; the whole thing coheres,' while Rolling Stone dubbed it 'his liveliest and jumpiest music in years.'

The Perfect All-In-One Powerhouse!

I recently purchased this 2025 HP Ultrabook as a gift, and it has exceeded every expectation. The recipient uses it daily for both high-level business work and personal use at home, and he absolutely loves the quality, functionality, speed and reliability.
The fact that it comes with Lifetime MS Office and Windows 11 Pro already included is a huge value-add—it was ready to go right out of the box without any extra subscriptions or setup headaches.
I also want to give a huge shout-out to the vendor! The laptop arrived much sooner than the estimated delivery date, which was a pleasant surprise and ensured it was under the tree just in time for Christmas. Between the premium hardware and the stellar service, I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend!

Defective Computer Returned in Original Condition – Unfair $60 Deduction

I would like to report this seller for unfair and fraudulent conduct. The computer that was sent to me was defective and did not power on or function upon arrival.
Because the item was not working, I returned it in exactly the same condition in which it was received, including all accessories and components. The item was properly packaged and returned without any damage caused by me.
Despite this, I was charged a $60 deduction/refund reduction, which I believe is completely unjustified. The seller is attempting to hold me responsible for a condition that existed before I received the computer.
I respectfully request that this case be reviewed, that the seller's conduct be investigated, and that the unjustified $60 deduction be refunded to me.
The product was defective from the beginning, and I fulfilled my obligation by returning it in the same condition in which it was received.

Great laptop but will need to purchase additional Cloud space

Great laptop for the price. I got the 16GB RAM + 628GB, Windows 11. It comes with MS office lifetime plus the mouse, portable SSD, earbuds. You'll most likely have to purchase additional Cloud space bit for $21.00 a year, it's not bad. Be careful if you pair the laptop with your phone for pictures as it brings all pictures over to your laptop. It takes up a lot of space. I'd recommend purchasing this laptop.
