Adding, removing and repositioning accessories and roof loads is quick and easy with the BASE Rack's dovetail system, making it easier to install and remove individual items without disturbing the whole load. Plus, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack dovetail extrusion won't collect dust and debris. Worth every single penny.

I haven’t had this kit in my car for very long, but it has definitely come in handy. Especially when people leave their blown out tires in the middle of the interstate and you accidentally run it over because the traffic is so bad you can’t see it coming and it knocks the plastic protectant piece loose from under your car and starts making an awful sound because it’s being dragged across the ground on the interstate. I pulled over and used one of the zip ties in this kit to hold it up and it’s still holding it up quite nicely I might add. This is something definitely worth having around because you never know what may come your way in life.
