2021- Cultusboni Chianti Classico RS is a passion project by winemaker Roberto Stucchi, utilizing 100% sangiovese grapes, mixing tradition with a modern touch.  There is minimal skin contact during fermentation and the wine is aged briefly in oak to give it more freshness and levity.  You’ll notice the color first with its translucent garnet to cranberry color.  Aromas of bramble berry, wild raspberry, red currant, pomegranate, wild flower, fresh rosemary, baking spices and forest tell you that you are indeed in Italy.  The wine has a beautiful weight to palate with layers of flavor while maintaining lift and freshness.  The Cultusboni Chianti is pleasantly complex without weighing down the palate.  It is an excellent wine to enjoy with simple preparations of grilled meats, bolognese sauce, pesto pasta, or roasted game birds.
