The Fly Club is a final club at Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was established in 1836 and operated as a chapter of Alpha Delta Phi before becoming a local organization in 1906.

History

Fly Club was founded in 1836 at Harvard College as a literary society by the editors of Harvardiana. Its founding members were John Bacon, William Augustus Davis, John Fenwick Eustis, Horatio Hale, Nathan Hale, Charles Hayward, Samuel Tenney Hildreth, Rufus King, George Warren Lippitt, James Russell Lowell, Charles Woodman Scates, Charles Stearns Wheeler, and Henry Williams.

The club was granted a charter by the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity on March 29, 1837. It remained active until surrendering its charter in 1865. With the graduation of the members of the class of 1868, the club was discontinued. In 1878, graduate members Edward Everett Hale (class of 1839) and Phillips Brooks (class of 1855), initiated undergraduates from the class of 1879. This restored the Harvard chapter of Alpha Delta Phi.

In December 1906, the fraternity's charter was once again surrendered with the group continuing as a local fraternity. In January 1910, the organization officially adopted the name "Fly Club," its unofficial title since 1885.

The original crest of the club bore the Alpha Delta Phi star and crescent, later changing to the leopard rampant.

Very durable
Color: Blue
My dog chews through most toys within minutes. This has lasted a week so far and he loves it, carries it around and squeaks it. It’s extremely durable!

Pineapple sunshine
Size: 7" XL-Large
Reviewing this after nearly 4 years. I got this for my dog (sadly has passed away), and this was one of her favorite toys. It didn't squeak but the shape and size was what she loved. Big enough she could chomp on in it and I didn't need to worry about her choking. Small enough she could carry it in her mouth when she wanted to play. This is a durable rubber/rubber-like material, I'd compare it to Kong toys, excellent for a dog who loves to chew and needs a toy that can endure their bite.

The only toy my dog has not destroyed.
Size: 7" XL-Large
This is the only toy my dog has not destroyed. He absolutely loves his pineapple, and has figured out a trick to get the treats out. He has destroyed kong toys left and right, the only damage he has done is he chewed the top off. We just soak and wash it, and refill it. It keeps him occupied and is a great treat.

Our Pup Loves It
Size: 7" XL-Large
Our fur baby usually prefers toys that squeak, but she LOVES her pineapple 🍍 toy! It’s the perfect size, its hardness is strong enough for her to chew but soft enough to flex in her jaws , and doesn’t have a bad odor. For the money, it has been a great value with how it can handle her strong chewing and not break apart.
