The gravesites belong to both famous and infamous characters, from Billy the Kid to Kit Carson, Elfego Baca, Mabel Dodge Luhan, and Geronimo (buried in exile in Oklahoma). The result of Melzer's coast-to-coast quest for the gravesites of deserving New Mexicans is a book filled with vivid photographs, compelling stories, humorous epitaphs, and valuable information. With so much data about so many New Mexicans, this book is destined to serve as a major reference work for historians, genealogists, students, and librarians for years to come. Richard Melzer is a professor of history at the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus. He is an award-winning author of many books and articles about New Mexico, including two grade school textbooks to be published in anticipation of New Mexico's centennial celebration of statehood in 2012. He is the President of the Historical Society of New Mexico. Pretty hard to clean

We've had this for about a week now. I have 2 dogs, one small one about 55lb. I bought this for my big girl, but lil man is determined to get the best of this toy. Usually they don't both go after the same toys, so this is interesting.
The trouble is, neither one of them can get all the treats out if something makes it all the way down into the crevice. It's surprisingly deep. The up side is that they'll try for quite a while before giving up. The down side is even if you put it in the top rack of the dishwasher, something stuck deep in there isn't going anywhere until you dig it out yourself.
I tried a plastic knife but it broke the second time I used it in there. I wound up using the metal handle of a reusable straw cleaner. Which then I had to wash that, too. Then it needs to dry overnight before it can be used again.
All in all, the dogs like it fine, it's gross to scrape out and wash, takes longer than most toys to dry, and I have the feeling that will eventually cause me to pass it to someone else's dog long before my two have gotten tired of it. At this point I'm pulling out of the toy rotation for a week or two because I'm not ready to clean it a third time.

Hyena Proof
Color: Acorn - Large, Size: Large
I have an American Bulldog that would chew a brick if he didn’t have an alternative lying around. They won’t last forever (nothing does) but we’ve had two of these over the course of a year and for him that is nothing short of a miracle. And that is daily chewing like it’s his job. I highly recommend the Acornucopia for aggressive chewers with jaws like hyenas…so it’s probably great for your dog too.

This is a great ball for my dog Polly! It doesn't stink or have any weird oils on the ball. It is definitely durable. It has a nice chirping sound and it's great exercise for my dog's jaws. It's not too bouncy and it's the perfect weight that she feels satisfied having in her mouth and when she catches it in mid-air. It's not too heavy that I have to worry about it knocking her teeth out. I almost cancelled the order after I found out the size of the ball, I thought it was a larger ball that Bark makes. It turns out it is larger than a tennis ball which is what I wanted. Someone gave us a black, knobby, ball that is 12.5 inches in diameter and she absolutely loves it, it's her favorite ball. It's the perfect size for her American Pit Bull mouth! I cannot find this product anywhere or a comparable alternative that's the same size. If you know where I can purchase another ball that I've described @ 12.5 in. diameter, please let me know! I'll likely buy this ball that was just delivered, today, in the future, if it's not discontinued! It's a great deal for only $14.99!! Thanks from a happy satisfied customer, V.B.
