When Marla Drake learned that someone else was attending a party in the same outfit as she, instead she put on an African panther suit which had belonged to her uncle. She never made it to the party, instead helping to capture a dangerous criminal, and thus embarked on a career of costumed crimefighting!
MISS FURY was born in the newspaper strips and was drawn by June Tarpe Mills Ð the first woman illustrator to draw any woman costumed hero. Her stories were more complex and realistic, intertwining personal lives of the heroine long before the ÒrelevantÓ comics of the 1960s and 1970s. The collection presents some of her best stories from the comic pages!

This book contains her stories from Miss Fury #5-8. Three pages of Issue #5 are black & white filler, and the final pages of issue #6 are missing, so if you have that issue please contact us for great rewards!
