(Knapp's music is) among the best of orchestral jazz being written these days. - Maria Schneider. Scrape is a seventeen-member string orchestra, along with harp and guitar, that performs the forward-looking music of composer Jim Knapp. Made up of top Seattle performers from the worlds of classical, jazz, and improvised music, they perform here ten Knapp originals along with a composition by guitarist Bill Frisell. Originally from Chicago, Knapp received his BA and MA in Music Composition from the University of Illinois. He moved to Seattle in the early '70s where he developed & chaired the Jazz Program at the Cornish College of the Arts for 35 years and founded the Composers and Improvisors Orchestra and the Jim Knapp Orchestra.

Absolutely perfect

Love the color and it’s very comfortable. I can also use an additional back rest when needed. It’s small enough for my limited work space, but large enough to accommodate my height requirements. It was quite easy to assemble, as I frequently put furniture together. I’ve had it for about a month and I’m hoping that it lasts a good while.

Good, cheap, small.

The quality is better than expected for the price. Seat cushion is firm but not overly hard, wheels roll nicely, piston goes up and down smoothly, and assembly is quick and easy. The one major caveat is that it's quite small. If the user is going to be maybe 5'4 or less, it'll work (this was for a child, so it turned out great). But even on a 5'6 user, the seat is rather shallow (front to back) and the armrests are so low that your elbows won't reach unless you have freakishly long arms.
If you're after a cheap office chair for brief adult use, or for kids, this is perfect. I don't know how they turn a profit given that it's a fully functional office chair, shipped from China to your doorstep, for only $30. However, if you're of average height or bigger, it's probably going to be too small for you.
