Freezing Cold's debut album Glimmer combines lush sounds with earnest storytelling, creating music that is reminiscent of Lemonheads, Throwing Muses, Sebadoh, Archers of Loaf, Ride, with a dash of punk, rounding out select tracks with keyboards and a few with a string section. Listening through Glimmer and standout tracks "New Ways to Wait", "Parentheses", "Teenage Insights", and "Squint to See" the band defy simplistic genre comparisons. The only thing that the listener can be sure of is that these songs are inward in their thinking and played close to the chest. Their influences are as varied as the members, which shines through in the varied pace and approach of Glimmer. Glimmer not only introduces us to a band at the beginning of their stride, but also to a group of individuals with a passion for their craft. The album was recorded and mixed by engineer, producer, and recording artist J Robbins (Against Me!, Promise Ring, Lemuria, Jawbox) at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore in March of 2019.1. There’s room for improvement
These heel support socks are quite comfortable to wear, the cotton blend fabric is soft and breathable. The built-in gel continuously moisturizes the heels, and the effect is more noticeable than applying lotion alone. I usually soak my feet in warm water before bed, apply lotion, and then use these socks. The elasticity is just right, and they don't constrict my feet. If the gel coverage area were a bit larger, the protection would be more comprehensive. Overall, they offer good value for money and are a practical foot care item.

They worked
I got these for my elbows because I think I might have eczema on my elbow. They work very well. However I do wish they were a little looser. As far as putting them on your heels, the fit works well.

Good Results
I have always struggled with dry, cracked heels, but I’ve finally found a solution that keeps them consistently hydrated: these special socks with a moisturizing silicone lining on the heels. My heels now feel incredibly soft, but it’s important to note that consistency is key.
Wearing these socks every night before bed has made a significant difference. It’s not enough to just wear them once and expect results; you have to be diligent and make it a part of your nightly routine. After a few weeks of nightly use, my heels are much softer and no longer cracked.
What I love about these socks is how easy they are to use. Just slip them on before going to sleep, and the silicone lining does its magic overnight. By morning, my heels feel smooth and well-moisturized.
For anyone struggling with dry heels, I highly recommend these socks. Remember, the secret is consistency. Stick with it, and you’ll see the difference!

So comfortable!
These work great and very comfortable. I put these on with heel moisturizer cream at bed time. Heels were improved overnight. They are washable too!

Just aren’t large enough.
This is a great idea, and I can wear socks over them and not notice they are there. I just wish they came in a larger size. When I put cream around the edges of my heels where the cracks always are, I cannot stretch the socks wide enough to clear the heel without smearing the cream onto my fingers or on the sock cuff. They do stay in place and aren't squishy at all when walking. They smell good too. The price is right. I wore them overnight and my heels were indeed much softer and smoother than before, and felt moist (tacky) where the cream had been. So they do an amazing job, but after using them six nights, they just aren’t large enough for me to put on without a hassle.
