Recently hailed by DownBeat as one of the visionaries of the current wave, Craig Taborn has a unique perspective on creative music-making. Just as Avenging Angel subverted expectations of solo improvised piano, so does Chants find it's own response to the vast tradition of the piano trios. The pieces that Taborn has been writing for the band in the eight years of it's existence are set up to generate a new group music by channeling the special skills of drummer Gerald Cleaver and bassist Thomas Morgan. I knew that if I created a context and then deferred, fully, to Geralds and Thomass sensibilities it would inherently be stimulating and would also challenge the context. I wanted to invite that challenge: Id much rather engage with the group, always, than have the format be piano adventures with supporting cast. Morgan and Cleaver share the leaders concern for compositional shape and multi-layered improvisational detail, as the music is pulled between the poles of density and spaciousness, to dramatic and thrilling effect. Chants was recorded in New York in June 2012, and produced by Manfred Eicher.

Surprising amount of room!
I am so pleased with the interior space in the pockets of this purse. It's the perfect size to hold keys, phone, and lots of other junk a mom tends to accumulate! The only downfall is the lack of card-holder spaces...only 4 total slots. I purchased another small card holder apparatus to hold all of my necessities.

Perfect Mini Backpack for almost any occasion! Fits 11 inch ipad

Giving 5 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟, even if I havent used it yet! because it:
-arrived in perfect good packaging, protected and nothing missing.
-11 inch ipad fit with its own pocket(although it did reach the very top of the bag and can feel its corners)
- can fit 2 regular plastic bottled water on both sides
- coin pocket(tho I'll be putting coffee candies and mint instead)
- spacious enough for mini snacks or notebook/light books.
- has 2 pockets inside
- 3 pockets outside(1 at back, 2 at front)
Good value for money. Good for travels!(be using for camping). And I think its water resistant. It is a simple, cute, very functional bag for many occasions
Wish: that the strap would be a bit longer, although I did have extra 2.5 inches before it rested comfortably at my lower back.

Great Medium-Sized Backpack !
Color: Khaki
This is the best medium sized backpack ! Bought it mainly for that it fit my Kindle since a smaller backpack didn't and the multiple compartments (more than I need but easy access). Lightweight, water resistant, great value and the quality so far is great. I especially like the locking feature should I need it. It's much lighter than my travel purse (PacSafe that I would still use for travel, especially international.) The "security" feature is an added compartment for more local travel.

Great bag, short shoulder straps
Color: Black
Love the size and the many, many pockets. The quality is great, it's really well made. But the shoulder straps are short. Like for a little kids backpack short. I love the bag so much I'm getting a kit to extend the should straps. But yeah 5 stars for the bag, minus 2 for the short shoulder straps.
