Description:
The TS5-HDR6 kit by ACT features their popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a 6-pad rigid race disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, minimize deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.
ACT's 6-pad rigid race discs are constructed with high-quality ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for added strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design enables quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. However, engagement with the 6-pad rigid race disc is harsher, albeit with faster shifting. This disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
