Race designed by the top DH mountain bike riders today, the X2 is the pedal of choice for championship riders such as Aaron Gwin, Lopes, Brosnan, Eliot Jackson and more. The winning pedal starts with it's aluminum cage that is made from extruded and CNC machined aluminum with excess material being shaved away leaving a low profile pedal with plenty of space for mud to shed through. For traction, the X2 has five replaceable pins that are supplied per side, allowing a custom fit and feel when paired with your choice of shoes.
The X2 clip in mechanism uses a spring tension adjustment for both sides and have a wide 13 degree release angle. With the supplied cleats giving 4 degrees of float, you will be secured into the pedal yet will be easy to disenage when need be.
Keeping things smooth are needle bearings and DU bushings that spin freely on a high quality chromoly axle. This gives super precise feel while making the X2 one of the most durable pedals on the market today.
