This WPI (Wraps per Inch) Ruler and Twist Angle Gauge combo tool is made from cherry wood and is used to identify the gauge of a yarn. This is great for any who loves reading books and the love of ravens. The twist angle gauge for yarn spinning tells the angle of twist from 0-90 in increments of 10 degrees and designates S or Z twist. To measure twist angle, lay your yarn across the wood and match the twist to the closest twist angle line. Great for spinners to check to make sure they are keeping the ply twist consistent. This yarn guide measures about 3 inches tall by (almost) 3 inches wide and comes with a brass clasp to hang on your knitting bag. Since each piece of wood is unique, item you receive may be slightly different from photos.
