There are dramatic tales of escape by slaves such as William and Ellen Craft and Dred Scott's doomed attempt to win his freedom through the Supreme Court. We see how slavery engendered violence in our nation, from bloody confrontations that broke out in American cities over fugitive slaves, to the cataclysm of the Civil War. The book is also filled with stories of remarkable African Americans like Sergeant William H. Carney, who won the Congressional Medal of Honor for his bravery at the crucial assault on Fort Wagner during the Civil War, and Benjamin "Pap" Singleton, a former slave who led freed African Americans to a new life on the American frontier. Exactly what I was looking for.

Although other reviews found this item was too lightweight and flimsy, frankly it was exactly what I was looking for. I needed to partition my workspace off from the rest of the room and I wanted something that I could easily attach to the back of an unfinished bookcase as part of creating a private space. It was perfect. Lightweight easy to handle and I didn't mind putting some nails through it. Great price point for what I needed.

Made cheaply.

Seems fairly sturdy ( 3 panel white) but made with extremely cheap materials that will not last. The cheap materials are very noticeable with the white screen. No assembly needed. Would not but again.

Beautiful brown privacy screen!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
The measurements were perfect for what I was looking for. The length and width are the same as my rattan raised garden bed which I have placed in front of the screen on the deck. This secures the screen so there is no issue of weather conditions. I have been looking for weeks for a privacy screen at every possible product and combination. and almost gave up when I noticed the measurements of the screen would fit behind my raised bed! Now I am going to plant some flowers in it. This is a terrific buy for me. i am so happy!

No assembly which is nice in this hot weather!

It would be extravagant to purchase another 3 panel divider but had gotten it so I didn’t have to look at the hallway from where I sit in the living room. It is stable. The taller size comes with a hefty shipping fee equal to the purchase price. This blocks the hallway and is attractive. My cat can push one panel to get through the passage without tipping the screen. The walnut color is a complement so I will keep it (even though I think it is overpriced
