Sometimes we can only come to know ourselves best when we let others in. Such can certainly be said of NYC multi-instrumentalist and artist Andrya Ambro, and her band Gold Dime, on the eve of their second full-length My House. See, she's played these instruments and crafted these songs her entire life, having honed her decisive sit/stand style of transfixing drumming and provocative singing to a degree of perfectionism. Coming from her previous, highly acclaimed noisy rock duo Talk Normal, Gold Dime's first release, 2017's Nerves, was the first time Ambro has had no one to answer to but herself. My House sees a new, more collective effort being made, with Ian Douglas-Moore on bass and John Bohannon (Ancient Ocean J.R. Bohannon) on guitar. And it very much shows. Walking a tightrope between unapologetic art rock and disarming intimacy, she integrates triumphant doubled guitars whose distorted fuzz winks at the mayhem of Les Rallizes Denudes, deep floor toms that quick pivot to galvanizing beats on a bed of dead spinning cymbals, to sometimes spoken, sometimes sung Laurie Anderson-esque words that uplift into a many voiced choir. And the warm bass lines, well they would make Holger Czukay from CAN very proud. My House, according to Ambro, is intended to be something of a gruff father's declaration at dinner, fist slamming on the table, but rather than the stubborn, undying manners that would come with "living under my roof," she only demands that everything be done with the same degree of tireless dedication and authenticity. "I want every beat to be played with intention. 'Cause why play if you don't mean it?" Every moment of this album acts as just that-a demand to own something, whether it be self or art or place in this world. We have no choice but to listen, to respect it. Nothing like I hoped

This is a piece of foam in a "cooling" pillowcase, which is not cooling and the foam goes flat. No support and no cooling. Very disappointed that you cannot trust reviews for true product information. The good part is you can return which I did.

These pillows perform wonderfully and they hold up!

I have had these pillows for 5 years, so mine is not in brand new condition in this photo but they still appear pretty good and function wonderfully. I recommend these to others looking for a soft but supportive pillow. They are the standard microfiber cooling ones. I have one and my daughter (7) has the other. We use them every night and they are just the perfect amount of medium-softness for both of us despite us being very different in size! Still fluff back up, have just enough support and height or thickness in my opinion (I don’t like very firm microfiber pillows as much, and I don’t like the feather pillows that aren’t goose down because they get crunchy and flat). Love these pillows, the price is super reasonable for the product they provide. They have held up this long, I’d say they are of good quality. I’ve just ordered another set for a visit to my mothers house! Our favorite pillows!

Super Comfortable and Easy to Sleep On

HIMOON Shredded Memory Foam Pillows are honestly way more comfortable than I expected—they’re soft but still supportive, and I like that I can adjust and fluff them to fit how I sleep. They feel good for both side and back sleeping, and they don’t go flat like some cheaper pillows I’ve tried. After using them for a while, they’ve held up well and still feel cozy every night. Overall, just a really comfortable, no-stress pillow that makes it easy to fall asleep 👍

Good pillows; wear a mask when fluffing and airing out

Searched everywhere for comfortable pillows, finally found this set. Perfect density and firmness, very comfortable. Downside is that they were covered in some type of white powder which dispersed as I was fluffing them up. Fiberglass, maybe? I recommend customers fluff and air them outside before use, and wear a mask. Pillows had an industrial smell, which dissipated after 20 minutes in the fresh air.
