At a party in the Hague in the late '80s, DJ Moortje accidentally dropped a dancehall 12-inch at 45 RPM, causing chaos in the audience. This beautiful mistake resulted in bubbling, a cultural expression of immigrants from the Dutch Antilles and Suriname, and the movement would take these communities by storm in the 1990s. Jamaican exports such as the Fever Pitch and Bam Bam riddims were double and half-timed, with Cutty Ranks on one hand sounding like a prepubescent chipmunk, and on the other like an evil spirit. Bubbling borrowed slave rhythms from Curacao (DJ Moortje's origin), creating a new Caribbean style of music in Europe that ran parallel to London's Jungle scene. The excitement eventually died down in the Netherlands, and Dutch house became the dominant genre in the late 2000s. There was more money to be made and bigger parties to be played when the music didn't consist of pitched-up dancehall, and bubbling became reserved exclusively for the black and Latin crowds, especially.

Best sim kitchen sink caddy that still holds everything needed!

I needed a slimmer sponge caddy, that could still hold my bottle brushes & extra sponges because my sink ledge isn't that wide... The rest of the ones I found were about 5 in, I needed this one that was only 3 in deep... Pitch perfectly and holds quite a bit. It's so worth it even if it rusts I'll buy another one! It looks great, study, drains water good, and the height is enough to hold my bottle brushes without them falling over. Does exactly what it's supposed to 😘

Strong Suction Cups

I didn't realize that this caddy came with the option to use suction cups or adhesive hooks. I opted for the suction cups and was pleasantly surprised at their strength. I loaded the caddy up with a couple of sponges, fingernail brush, and a dishwashing brush (filled with liquid soap) and have had no problems with the caddy remaining strongly secured. It's a great little organizer and looks really nice.

GREAT Suction!! Looks fantastic!

I wanted to find a sponge holder with great suction for our ceramic sink. This is the REAL DEAL! I saw one or two complaints on the reviews below but obviously they are doing something wrong, because if you just follow the instructions (make sure the sink is clean and dry where you stick it), it works perfectly. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and we use it every single day and it has never slipped even once. The suction cups are big and made of good plastic so they really do the job. It hasn't budged from the spot where I placed it. It's also easy to take the caddy off of the suction cups when you want to clean the sink without moving the suction cups. You can peel them off easily and reposition them but they will not move unless you want them too. It's also the perfect size and looks great. Perfect for holding a stick sponge upright so that the soap doesn't leak out of it.

Great product. Suction can be improved though.

I'm satisfied with my purchase. It gets the job done. The suction pads can definitely be improved though, I found that pads couldn't keep the holder in place for more than an hour so I just removed the suction pads and kept it beside my sink. Overall, great product. Would definitely recommend.
