Crafted using a 99% corn/1% barley-based mash bill, the whiskey is aged for 12 years in second-fill American oak barrels, giving it a cask strength of 92% proof. Hooten Young 12-year-old American whiskey has a sweet aroma of stewed apples, sugary gum, figs, and fresh plums. The taste is a burst of flavors, featuring apple and strawberry tarts, cherries, and sherry-soaked oak.
