The Rolleiflex 2.8F Planar is a medium format TLR (Twin-Lens Reflex) camera designed for 6×6 cm images on 120 roll film. It is equipped with the renowned Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 taking lens, offering high optical precision, consistent sharpness across the frame, and excellent control over depth of field. The viewing system uses a dedicated Heidosmat viewing lens, providing a bright and clear focusing image on the waist-level finder with parallax-corrected automatic frame compensation.
The Synchro-Compur leaf shutter delivers accurate timing and full flash synchronization at all speeds. Exposure control is managed through coupled aperture and shutter settings with an EV (Exposure Value) system for streamlined operation. The camera supports manual focusing via a smooth helicoid mechanism and includes a sports finder and focusing hood with flip-up magnifier for critical focus.
Film advancement is handled by the precise crank mechanism, combining automatic frame spacing and shutter cocking in a single motion. A removable film back door allows the addition of accessories such as Rollei film inserts and 15-exposure kits. The camera integrates a built-in exposure meter (depending on configuration), adding metering assistance without external devices.
Constructed with a durable metal chassis and precision mechanical assembly, the 2.8F Planar emphasizes reliability, optical excellence, and refined handling in professional medium-format photography.

A good First Communion suit

This suit looks and feels really nice even though it’s not 100% linen. My son is an average size 7 year old, but I got a size 6 so that the fit would be nice and snug and not loose and baggy. It was the right choice. Comes with a bow tie which is nice, a tie (which is very cheap and poorly made) and a pocket square.
