  Shoot a rifle enough and the time will come when the barrel needs special attention. Whether that is as complex as removal and installation of the barrel or as simple as replacing the iron sights, finding a way to immobilize the barrel becomes a critical task. Our tool is the last vice you will ever need to accomplish your barrel maintenance. Solidly built this universal vice mates to and positively clamps any rifle barrel up to 1 and 5/8” in diameter. The top vice jaws have ample play, allowing it to conform to the natural taper of any rifle barrel. The v-shaped jaws accommodate a vast array of barrel shapes and sizes without the need to purchase extra bushings. Anodized and milled out of billet aluminum, this vice won’t scratch or ding your barrel. Low tension springs hold the vice open and eliminate the need for a second pair of hands as you carefully guide your barrel into the jaws. The four bolt systems and long jaw length yield tremendous holding force for breaking loose even the tightest barrels.
