The stylish Pangea Cork Background - Rough is made of all-natural compressed cork bark offering a functional and beautiful backdrop to your reptile or amphibian enclosure. The natural materials fit into a bioactive display aesthetically and functionally.

Functional

Cork bark is a perfect material for inside your enclosures. The cork naturally resists mold, mildew, and rot, which will help keep your enclosure clean. The soft nature of cork means it is fantastic for climbing. Healthy geckos, and lizards of nearly all species, will climb these cork tiles with ease. Our cork backgrounds are cut to fit inside old style Exo Terra and current Zoo Med glass enclosures.

Nothing improves the aesthetics of a reptile habitat as well as natural products do. Seeing your animal living in an enclosure that is as close to its natural environment is one of the most rewarding feelings as a keeper. These backgrounds offer that experience we crave.

You can choose between two styles to complete your look. The Pangea Cork Background - Rough style is made with the exterior of the cork bark facing outward, perfect for a natural tree trunk look. The Pangea Cork Background - Smooth style is made with the opposite side of the cork or rather the inside. The smooth side offers a warmer color and smoother surface resembling a tree hollow.

Notes

• If you are adding this background to a tropical tank we recommend using 100% silicone to adhere your background to your enclosure. The cork pieces that make up the face of the background adhere to a ground corkboard. High humidity or heat can cause the cork face to warp if this precaution is not taken.
• Our cork backgrounds are cut to fit inside old style Exo Terra and current Zoo Med glass enclosures.
• All Pangea Cork Backgrounds are approximately 1" thick.
