Featuring two tracks of fearless sonic bliss and two long journeys to a state of sustained ecstasy, Plug Music Ramoon was recorded in one day on analog 2" tape. This limited edition LP comes housed in a gorgeous hand-printed silkscreen sleeve, with insert. Sequenced in chronological order on the LP as the tracks were recorded in the studio, the opener "Flamingo Moon" takes off into outer space. It's a gentle start to the impending Astral chaos as the rambunctious "Punk Rocker/Mug Cracker" noisily propels itself and it's passengers forwards. This 14-minute showdown is divided into two parts with the loose, drum-led "Punk Rocker" submerging into the swooping sonics of the "Mug Cracker." Side 2 introduces a playful element into the spiral density with percussive sticks and bells providing a tribal backdrop for resonant electronics, keyboard odysseys and some experimental vocal work from helmsman Neil Campbell. After a wild solar adventure, the album culminates in "Ramoon Ramoon," a considered and tight improvisation that steers the Club homeward. While Club member John Clyde-Evans' laptop contributions provide much of the backbone groove of the album, Stewart Keith adds light and shade on a variety of keyboards and toys. But it's Campbell's dense guitars that thicken the very stem of these four tracks and leads his Astral Social Club to conjure up his dreams and visions. Neil Campbell is a stalwart of the UK experimental music scene who began making music in the early 1980s. Originally a member of loose improvisational collective A-Band, he established himself more firmly in the '90s as a founding member of Vibra cathedral Orchestra. Campbell utilizes guitars, electronics, vocals and laptop-generated and manipulated sounds in his freeform improvisations. In 2005, he embarked on his solo project Astral Social Club, often drawing on the talents of kindred spirits. Stewart Keith is a long-time friend and collaborator of Neil Campbell and one of the main members of Nottingham's A-Band, playing free drone and high-energy rock music and championing an un-tutored, elemental and almost primitive approach to music-making. John Clyde-Evans aka Tirath Singh Nirmala, has played with artists such as Richard Young's and Vibra cathedral Orchestra, contributing computer-generated sounds, electronics and violin. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies.

Works, but reimbursement for damaged items come via Amazon Gift Card, not Cash
Just confirming that this protection plan actually works.
Asurion first told me that they'd try and repair my item.
Likely, they couldn't find someone to repair the type of item I bought (KVM), so they offered payment (original cost of the item) via Amazon Gift Card.
Giving 4 out of 5 stars -> 4 instead of 5 because Amazon Gift Card isn't Cash. Cash is always better.

When Acer's Warranty Policy left my high and dry, Asurion Protection came to the rescue
My Acer Monitor was damaged during a brownout due to a lightning strike close to my house; Acer Customer Support told me that their warranty did not cover this sort of damage but luckily for me, Asurion Protection did. I simply mailed them the item for repairs with their shipping label, and once they realized that the item was damaged beyond repair, they emailed me an Amazon Gift Card Code with the amount spent on the monitor; I'm extremely happy that I bought their protection because without it, I would have had to pay the price of a new monitor to get my PC Setup back into commission. Don't trust asurion
I first contacted Amazon for this product when I didn't receive this. I bought this back in October 22nd or 23rd with my Lenovo chromebook idea pad flex which it's now December 16th on a Friday night I have yet to receive it. I first contacted Amazon about it November 3rd they said to give asurion a week to back it up for the email delivery. Waited a couple weeks ans nothing happened, contacted Amazon and they put me on with asurion which I then revived a text through tech support saying I'll receive it soon, give them 24 hours to respond with it. Going through 2 links and 2 sites, an email verification a phone number verification and an Amazon sign in "Sorry, we are unable to find your plan." Was the response I was given after all of that. It then put me through the sign-ins again, at the very start of the last 45 minutes hence why I'm writing this. Not to mention the last month I've been trying to contact them for email delivery of my protection plan. I spent $108+ tax on the 4 year protection plan on the upgraded version of my chromebook IdeaPad, which was a gift to someome special to me. Now if It shuts down tomorrow it's not going to get the honored 4 year protection plan, warranty. The device was expensive and asurion can't even honor their own protection plans.

Perfect sublimation paper!
