Vinyl LP pressing. The Quiet Temple have announced details of the release of their self-titled debut album on Friday June 28th 2019. An amorphous musical collective put together by Rich Machin and Duke Garwood, with a rolling cast of players assembled from the likes of Soulsavers, Spiritualized, Stereolab and Julian Cope. Recorded live over the course of a week, there was no splicing of takes, as that would have defeated the concept. On occasion the group performed a live edit where they would take sections from different takes, but the original intention of creating a record where everything was recorded live was maintained. The result is a potent and nuanced record that beguiles as much as it charms. Across six tracks the album moves from the languorous lysergic shuffle of the opening The Last Opium Den (On Earth) to the beatific - almost Balearic - lazy grooves of The Bible Black. Elsewhere, the opening cinematic vistas of Shades of Gemini soon gives way to something far more menacing and whisky-sodden. Finally, the closing Utopia & Visions takes the electronic post-punk visions of Talk Talk into unapologetic cosmic dub territory. So while jazzs spirit of wanderlust underpins the record, Machin is defiant that The Quiet Temple is not a jazz album. I don't think it's a jazz record, he states. It's got a lot of Krautrocky stuff going on in it as well. For me, as well as the Alice Coltrane influence, it's equal parts Velvet Underground and Harmonia. There's lots of psyche rock and other elements in there too.

LOVE BARK TOYS!!!

I got this toy for my 1yr old Husky/Heeler/(possibly)GSD (approx 42lbs) mix when she came to our home mid/late October of 2025 and the toy lasted until December 3rd 2025 when we had to assist her with opening the fabric to get the toy on the inside.
It was a great fun toy for her and the inside toys still is and she loves playing with it. The durability of both the outside and inside toys are great for super chewers! I was glad there was no stuffing because I had gotten her a plush toy once before and she destroyed that immediately. The fabric on this was durable enough to withstand her chewing yet soft enough that it didn’t hurt her teeth. The colors were vibrant and fun for both toys even though wear and tear kinda took some of the fabric color away. I would definitely buy this again once the inside toy is no longer safe for her, especially since the size was perfect for her too.

Good ball for strong chewers

My dog loves this ball except the outside fur gets gross really quickly. However, it’s easy to cutoff and underneath is a strong squeaky ball. It’s like two gifts in one. He’s a very heavy chewer and the ball lasts quite a bit.

Take the skin off and get the right size for your dog’s weight!

This review is specifically for the panda toy. My dog is a super chewer and will literally go through any normal toy, even the ones labeled for aggressive chewers, within a few hours at most. He’s about to be 10 years old and this is the first time he’s ever had a toy that lasted as long as it has. I wanna mention the outer layer he almost immediately chewed through. To me, it wasn’t worth the fear of him dealing through pieces so I just took the whole “skin” off. However, he’s safely had this for 2 months with no issues and heavy daily chewing until he finally broke it apart. So if you have a super chewer, make sure to get the size appropriate for your dog’s weight and take the “skin” off and you’re left with a quality toy that will stick around! Pictured is a set of 2 new toys of the same variety since he finally chewed through his last batch lol

My dog loves this toy but…
Color: Grey Bear - Large
This toy has many pros and cons, but it’s my dogs all time favorite toy so I have to give it 4 stars.
Pro:My German Shepard loves this toy, it has no squeaker and she hates squeakers, so she hasn’t tried to destroy it. It’s the perfect size for a large ball. She likes to throw her toys and this one has a pretty decent bounce to it so she can entertain herself.
Cons: the inside is hard rubber, she likes to throw her toys and it hurts when she hits you with it or drops it on your feet. Also a huge hazard to windows and anything breakable.

Pretty awesome chew toy
Color: Grey Bear - Large
This toy is great!! I have a doodle that shreds everything in sight, including durable toys, but this one stood up to the Teddy test! He easily ripped off the ear/feet bits, but the fabric casing hasn’t come off after a week of play, and I expect the rubber toy inside will be even harder to break.
This is a fairly heavy toy, so it makes a thunk when it drops and is probably not suitable for small dogs. It has a light squeak that is quiet and infrequent enough to not annoy me, and it’s pretty cute too!! it does get soaked in drool pretty fast (and takes forever to dry), but at this point i’m grateful it lasts long enough to get drooled on at all.
