The final show of the tour following the release of Black Sabbath’s debut album “Black Sabbath”—held on August 31, 1970, in Montreux, Switzerland—makes its very first appearance here in stunning, perfect-quality stereo soundboard recording leaked from insiders!

The audio quality is absolutely astonishing—so crystal-clear, so vividly separated in stereo, so raw yet refined, that it’s hard to believe this recording is over 40 years old. It sounds so lifelike, it’s as if the band is performing right in front of you. And there’s a good reason for that: this recording was officially captured back then and rediscovered during research for bonus content for the deluxe editions released last year. Although it ultimately remained unreleased, it was seriously considered for inclusion.

Originally, the deluxe edition of the debut album was planned as a 3-disc set, but was ultimately released as a 2-disc version—raising the possibility that this very recording was intended as the third disc. Due to the sensitivity of how this tape surfaced, its date and location were initially withheld, but further investigation confirmed it as the Montreux show on August 31, 1970.

The emergence of this tape is nothing short of a revelation—a brand-new essential live document of the original Sabbath lineup, awakened after 40 years of silence.

As a bonus, two genuine (not fake) demo tracks from 1969 are also included, adding even more historical value to this extraordinary release.
