--Chicago Sun-Times

In the spring of 1832, Black Hawk and his Sauk followers, including 700 warriors, rose up in a rage and defiantly crossed the Mississippi to reclaim their ancestral home in Illinois. The rebellion was dashed in just three months, yet no other violent encounter between white America and native people embodies so clearly the U.S. Republic's conflict between exalted ideals of freedom and human dignity and its insatiable appetite for territory.

Until 1822, the 6,000-strong Sauk Nation had occupied one of North America's largest Indian settlements, just east of the Mississippi. Supported by hundreds of acres of planted fields, their domain was the envy of white Americans who had already begun to encroach upon the rich land. When the conflicts between natives and white squatters inevitably turned violent, the Sauks were forced into exile, uprooted and banished to the uncharted west.

Resurrecting the heroic efforts of Black Hawk and his men, Trask illuminates the tragic history of frontier America through the eyes of those who were cast aside in the pursuit of manifest destiny.

Great style and comfort
This is a fantastic sweatshirt! Made from a high quality fabric this shirt doesn't even feel like what you think of when you think "sweatshirt". It has a sophisticated design pattern and a great style perfect for golf or even to wear to the office in a casual tech company. My husband has done so and got many compliments and requests to tell him where he got it! It is true to size, with a cut that fits a variety of body sizes perfectly. It is very flattering, comfortable, and soft. It just looks great. It washes easily, stains do not set and neither do wrinkles. I intend to buy more of these in other colors.

Excellent Midlayer for Golf
Color: Light Brown Heather, Size: X-Large
My dad has been wearing this M MAELREG hoodie for about a week now, specifically during my early morning golf rounds where the temperature sits in the low 50s. The fit is true to size with an "athletic" cut, meaning it’s tapered enough to look sharp but has enough stretch and light enough to allow for a full shoulder turn during a golf swing. The cost is also a lot lower than some of the tech golf shirts out there. Overall this is a great shirt for golfing with an expensive look.

Good hoodie. Don’t know if it’s worth the price. Would feel better if it was $10 cheaper

Comfortable and casual enough for daily wear but still looks like you put thought into your look
Color: Grey Heather, Size: 3X-Large
Got this for my husband and was so pleased with the quality and fit. He wears it on top of his tee shirt and says it's one of the most comfortable hoodie he's worn. It's not too thick, but very warm. Great value as he wears it daily. Love the casual style while still looking put together.
