Ever-evolving artist Bob Mould-whose face belongs on the Mount Rushmore of alternative music-decided to "write to the sunshine," as he describes it, not because he likes the current administration. It comes from a more personal place-a place found in Berlin, Germany, where he's spent the majority of the last three years. Here, Mould would draw inspiration from the new environments. The theme, the cathartic vocals, and the strings all amount to Mould's catchiest, grabbiest album since Copper Blue, the acclaimed 1992 debut of his trio Sugar. Back then, Mould's work in Hüsker Dü, as a solo artist, and in Sugar helped define the sound of guitar rock in the alternative age. Sunshine Rock finds him doing it again for an era that has ostensibly eschewed rock. Sunshine Rock follows the 2016 release of Patch the Sky, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as "conjuring the ecstatic rage of his earlier bands for a grim new era" and as "tight, sharp musings on aging, fizzled relationships and death that are melodic enough to sound like songs of victory" by the New York Times. Patch the Sky completed a trilogy including it's 2014 predecessor Beauty & Ruin and 2012's Silver Age.

KONG Tug Toy
This tug toy is decent but not amazing. It’s sturdy enough for light play, but it doesn’t hold up as well as other KONG toys we’ve used. My dog enjoyed it, but the material started to wear faster than expected, and it didn’t feel as durable as the usual KONG quality. It’s fine for occasional tug sessions, but not the best choice for strong pullers or heavy chewers.

Best toy for a puppy who loves tug-o-war
My puppy (lab/shepherd) went nuts for this toy. She loves to play tug-o-war. This is so durable and the grip handles on the end totally help you out. She loves to bit in the middle and will whip it at you to get you to engage with her. The size is perfect for her and the KONG material must feel good for her.

GREAT DOG TOY INDESTRUCTIBLE!
Best dog toy yet! My large breed year old pup is very hard on toys and this one stands up to the wild playing and chewing! Excellent purchase I’ll definitely buy it again to have extras around and I’d definitely give it as a gift! Happy dog happy life!

Kong didn't survive this guy.
He had it for an hour.. We played tug for around 10 minutes then he took it off and chewed it up.. I thought Kongs were tougher to chew up.. very dissapointed.

One of the best dog toys we've found
This is one of my little girl's favorite toys. She's an aggressive chewer so at first we followed the manufacturers instructions not to let her use as a chew toy. It was purchased in January 2025, but it's holding up just fine. She likes to turn it into a pretzel for some reason, but hey it keeps her entertained! Highly recommend.
