The Exo Terra Monsoon SOLO II is a programmable misting solution designed for various terrariums and greenhouses. It aids in maintaining ideal humidity levels by producing a fine mist at scheduled intervals, which can be easily modified based on the specific needs of the animals or plants being kept. Regular misting can encourage breeding behavior and is essential for supporting live tropical plants like Bromeliads, orchids, and mosses.
The system allows for multiple misting sessions throughout a 24-hour period, with spray times adjustable from 2 seconds to 2 minutes. Its 1.5-liter (0.40-gallon) reservoir provides continuous operation for several days without requiring a refill, making it perfect for vacations! Additionally, the reservoir is easy to top up without the need to disassemble the entire system.
The Exo Terra Monsoon Solo includes one user-friendly nozzle, but it can be expanded to fit up to 2 nozzles, making it suitable for up to 2 terrariums. (Keep in mind that adding more nozzles will reduce the performance of each one.) The mist generated by these specially crafted nozzles is incredibly fine, creating a fog-like atmosphere in your terrarium or greenhouse, and the extra long tubing allows the unit to be discreetly hidden in a storage space or underneath the terrarium in a cabinet.
