One of Real Simple's "Best Books of 2018"Named a Most Anticipated Book of 2018 by Southern Living, Elite Daily, and Writer's Digest A powerful debut novel, praised by The New York Times, Bustle, and Hypable, that pulses with humor and empathy as it explores the heart's capacity for forgiveness... Zadie Anson and Emma Colley have been best friends since their early twenties, when they first began navigating serious romantic relationships amid the intensity of medical school. Now they're happily married wives and mothers with successful careers--Zadie as a pediatric cardiologist and Emma as a trauma surgeon. Their lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, are chaotic but fulfilling, until the return of a former colleague unearths a secret one of them has been harboring for years. As chief resident, Nick Xenokostas was the center of Zadie's life--both professionally and personally--throughout a tragic chain of events during her third year of medical school that she has long since put behind her. Nick's unexpected reappearance at a time of new professional crisis shocks both women into a deeper look at the difficult choices they made at the beginning of their careers. As it becomes evident that Emma must have known more than she revealed about circumstances that nearly derailed both their lives, Zadie starts to question everything she thought she knew about her closest friend.

Makes me look older - Not for me!
This review is for the 05 Dark Beige color of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mattifying Mousse Matte Foundation for Oily Skin and Sensitive Skin.
Disclaimer: This review was written by my wife!
We ordered "Honey Beige" and received "05 hâlé - Dark beige", which is not one of the colors offered on the product page. Hâlé means sunburned or tanned, and it is for darker skin, not for the darkest skin tones. It’s too dark for me, as I usually use the second lightest color for foundations.
PROS
The foundation is not fragrant like some of their products
Does not irritate my skin at all
Does not give a cakey look
Covers pores and uneven skin colors well
Looks beautiful right after the application
CONS
In less than a couple of hours, my skin, especially forehead area, looks almost exactly like the texture of "saffiano printed calf skin", with numerous fine straight-line wrinkles going both vertically and horizontally. I could not believe that, so I tried the foundation with and without moisturizers and foundation bases, but my forehead still ended up in looking like the material with which my purse is made. I don't even have visible wrinkles on my forehead without the foundation, so it ended up making my skin look far worse, rather than better.
Not recommended.

Very good foundation
So far, this is working very well for me. It is a little dark for my winter color, but I lighten it with a bit of moisturizer. In the summer when my skin gets more sun, the shade should be perfect.

Light and airy
It is a mousse and goes on so light and airy. Love the way it feels. I dont need a lot of coverage, this went on natural and thin, which was exactly what I need.

Saved my skin barrier!!
I rarely write reviews, but this product truly deserves it. I have sensitive, dry skin with mild to moderate rosacea that became even more fragile after chemotherapy. While trying to repair my skin barrier, I overdid it with actives and completely wrecked my skin — it was red, raw, burning, and peeling.
I turned to ChatGPT for help, and this Avene Cicalfate+ was one of the top recommendations. I started using it about three weeks ago, and wow — the difference is incredible! My skin has healed beautifully. The redness is dramatically reduced, the irritation is gone, and my skin feels soft, smooth, and calm again.
The texture is soft and luxurious without being sticky. I love that there’s no noticeable scent, which is perfect for sensitive skin. It arrived well packaged and intact. For the results it delivers, I consider it an amazing value and will absolutely repurchase again and again.
If you’re on the fence about trying this, go for it — it truly rescued and revived my skin barrier. This is now a permanent part of my routine and 100% a holy grail product for me!
