SE34 6mm Teal Non-Slip Yoga Mat — Confident Grip, Cushioned Comfort, Easy-Care Build

Give your practice a fresh pop of color and a rock-steady base. The SE34 Yoga Mat pairs a calming teal finish with studio-ready performance: a textured non-slip surface for trustworthy traction, joint-friendly 6 mm (¼") cushioning, and a durable build that’s anti-tear, moisture-resistant, and washable. It’s sized to the classic 24" × 72" × 1/4" footprint and constructed from PVC that’s phthalate- and latex-free, then digitally printed with UV-cured inks so color stays crisp session after session. (List price shown on the product page: $65.) Yune Yoga

Why you’ll love SE34

6 mm comfort—without the wobble
Too thin and your joints complain; too plush and balance suffers. Around 6 mm is the versatile “sweet spot” many buying guides point to for all-purpose practice—soft enough for kneeling and seated work while staying stable for standing flows and single-leg poses. For a quick refresher on cushion vs. stability and when to add a towel, see REI’s Expert Advice on choosing a yoga mat. REI

Grippy, non-slip texture
From Down Dog to low lunges, SE34’s subtly textured top helps reduce sliding so you can focus on breath and alignment—not on re-centering your hands and feet. The surface is moisture-resistant, making quick wipe-downs after class a breeze. Yune Yoga

Built to last (and easy to clean)
Daily unrolls and sweaty sessions? No problem. SE34 pairs anti-tear durability with straightforward upkeep: wipe with mild soap and water, then air-dry completely before rolling. The page also highlights that it’s washable and designed so germs don’t get absorbed—a win for shared studios and home practice alike. Yune Yoga

Thoughtful materials
Made from PVC that’s phthalate- and latex-free (also free of heavy metals) and UV-cured for long-wearing color, SE34 balances value, performance, and easy care. Yune Yoga

How SE34 supports your practice

Whether you’re generating heat in vinyasa, dialing in mobility, cross-training with Pilates, or easing into restorative holds, SE34 provides a soft-yet-stable base. The 6 mm profile eases pressure on knees, wrists, and hips while preserving ground feel for balance work. If you practice hot, layer a full-length yoga towel—a machine-washable sweat barrier that enhances traction and keeps your mat fresher between deep cleans. For a quick primer on how thickness, texture, and towels affect grip and hygiene, check REI’s buying guide (and recent mat roundups highlighting the comfort benefits of 6 mm+ mats). REISELF

Care & cleaning (quick routine + deeper refresh)

  • After class: Wipe the mat with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap; air-dry completely before rolling so moisture isn’t trapped. (SE34’s moisture-resistant, washable finish makes this quick and effective.) Yune Yoga

  • Occasional deep clean: REI recommends a gentle soak + light scrub + thorough rinse, followed by a full air-dry—especially helpful for thicker mats. REI

  • DIY between-session spray: A simple 1:4 mix of witch hazel or vinegar with water is a budget-friendly refresh; mist lightly, wipe, and allow to dry. REI

Hot-class tip: A towel on top improves grip when you sweat and reduces abrasion, helping your print look great longer. For options and care tips, browse our Yoga Towels Collection. Yune Yoga

Frequently asked questions

Is 6 mm too thick for balance work?
For most practitioners, 6 mm balances comfort and stability: it cushions joints while still letting you feel grounded. If you crave maximum floor feel, go thinner; if your knees are sensitive, you’ll appreciate the extra padding. For selection tips (materials, textures, towel layering), see REI’s yoga-mat guide. REI

How should I clean the mat after a sweaty class?
Use the quick wipe-down above and let the mat air-dry fully. For periodic resets, follow REI’s soak-and-rinse steps or keep a simple 1:4 DIY spray handy between sessions. REI

What is SE34 made of?
SE34 uses PVC that’s phthalate- & latex-free and is digitally printed with UV-cured inks for durable color and pattern longevity. Yune Yoga

how a country could develop a "national character" founded on the love of liberty while simultaneously importing thousands and t
Format: Paperback
This book lays out hte paradox, how a country could develop a "national character" founded on the love of liberty while simultaneously importing thousands and thousands of bondsmen to provided the "free people" with the necessities of life: i.e., why slavery was necessary to support the kind of freedom the white folk wanted to become accustomed to.... and implicitly, why the industrial revolution finally changed the hearts and minds of enough Americans to make slavery seem unnecessary and therefore, if was no longer a necessary evil, why it had to be overthrown. Morgan writes objectively -- but his feelings are always detectable through his writing style, which is perhaps the best academic English to be found anywhere. I found it gripping. The book was published in 1972, and has doubtless been corrected by many subsequent researchers in some of its particulars -- but it was the fountainhead for a new way of understanding American history that young people all have learned about in high school, but which many baby-boomers have never seriously encountered. Reading it accomplished a MAJOR retrofit in my sense of how the USA got to be the way it is today. Not to put too fine a point on it, the Tea Party and many trump supporters seem to adhere to the values of the original American Republicans [and to think that Black folk should be pushed back to a place where their feelings don't matter], and to long for a return to the status quo ante -- with ante referring to a time long LONG ago

Kindle edition worked well. Very interesting and insightful read by a first rate historian. Tells the story of how our ancestors transitioned from Englishmen to Americans. A book well worth taking the time to read.

History at its best
This comprehensive history of early Virginia persuasively argues that slavery and racism contributed to the American notions of freedom and democracy for those not enslaved. Although first published in 1975, one would never guess that just from reading it. Morgan's argument emerges from such a careful reading and analysis of primary sources that it remains as important today as it was a quarter century ago. The book also provides valuable insights into many subjects other than slavery, including economic and political relations between Virginia and England, early interactions with Native Americans, and changing colonial and British notions of labor and class. Highly recommended on any of these issues.

Fasten your seat belt!
Format: Paperback
The eye-opening journey this non-fiction book offers is not fun, if you are any kind of human being at all. The historical detail and background information is great. The organization makes it easy to understand the complex and entangled events that were happening then and which molded colonial Virginian society, which in turn we inherited. Highest quality scholarship. Dreadful and stomach-turning subject matter. I wish I read this years ago.
