Alison graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and worked for admired artist Katy Schimert in New York before opening her first studio in East Boothbay, Maine. Over the past ten years, AE Ceramics has grown thanks to partnerships with retail store around the US, England, Canada, Australia and the Virgin Islands. The AE Ceramics Gallery is now located in the historic village of Yarmouth, Maine, where Alison’s husband Chris handles business fundamentals and she focuses on design.
