The Rat SIRT2 (NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-2) ELISA Kit measures Sirt2 in Rat Serum, Plasma, Cell Culture Supernatant, Cell or Tissue Lysate. This kit is based on Double antibody-Sandwich ELISA detection method and takes 4h assay time. The microplate provided in this kit has been precoated with anti Sirt2 antibody. Add standard and properly diluted sample into relevant well respectively. After incubation, wash unbound components. Add biotinylated detection antibody. Then, it binds with Sirt2 bound to precoated antibody. Wash unbound components and add HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC). Wash unbound components again and add TMB substrate solution. Then, TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that turned yellow after adding a stop solution. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Calculate the concentration of Sirt2 in the sample by plotting standard curve. The concentration of the target substance is proportional to the OD450 value.

Sturdy. Everything came in one piece and the instructions were some of the clearest I've encountered for Amazon furniture. Took about an hour for me to muscle my way through with manual screwdrivers only. I do not recommend a drill unless you go slow, because screw placement will make or break this for you in my opinion. Problems I encountered and how I overcame them: Drawer was rickety, kept catching when trying to pull out. I had to go back and tighten the tiny black screws on the rails. If they are not as flush as you can possibly get them, they will cause the wheels to catch. Once I got them as tight as possible, the drawer pull out was much smoother. Getting the first set of rails on. Space was EXTREMELY tight and frustrating. I ended up using a small screwdriver from my house, pressing it tightly with one hand, and using a pair of pliers to turn the screwdriver. Like a socket wrench type action. This sucked, I can't lie. And it wasn't possible to put them on earlier due to the cam bolts/screws under the rail. But I got through it. Overall, this is worth the money as long as you are willing to take your time and line things up properly and really use some elbow grease to get the screws in straight and flush.
