The Hetzer (Sd.Kfz.138/2) was built on the Czech LT 38 chassis and armed with the 75mm PaK 39 gun — providing a compact, well-protected, and low-profile tank destroyer that proved highly effective against Allied armour and was produced in large numbers from 1944.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Hetzer's distinctive sloped armour, low profile, and unusual offset gun mount with excellent precision. A classic and important German WWII AFV subject.
