All the needles and cords in these sets are interchangeable with all of their other needles and cors, as well as those made by Knit Picks. Something I REALLY like about these sets is that they include a full range of needle sizes, from 3. 25mm US3 to 12mm US17, so you aren't left in the lurch. The needles are similar to the Knitter's Pride Dreamz Wood needles;

Knitter's Pride has come out with a lovely new set of their quality interchangeable needles. All the needles and cords in these sets are interchangeable with all of their other needles and cors, as well as those made by Knit Picks. Something I REALLY like about these sets is that they include a full range of needle sizes, from 3.25mm/US3 to 12mm/US17, so you aren't left in the lurch. The needles are similar to the Knitter's Pride Dreamz Wood needles; they're smooth laminated wood, pointed, and easy to work with. The needle sizes are laser imprinted on the metal part of the needles so they won't wear off. The case is sturdy and does double duty as a chart holder. The sets also come with a generous number of cords and accessories. 

Please note, the DELUXE includes the regular 5" tip length and are only suitable for making needles 24"/60cm and longer (they are NOT suitable for making hats, and shorter cords will not work with them). The SPECIAL IC includes the shorter 4" tips that make 16"/40cm to 20"/50cm needles and are suitable for making hats and little neck thingies (although longer cords can be used with these tips).
