A: Stonehenge is a mysterious ancient circle of giant standing stones in Wiltshire, England. It was built in Britain's neolithic period, thousands of years ago, and includes stones that were brought from as far away as Scotland and Wales.
Q: Oh right, that Stonehenge. It was built by druids, right?
A: No. Druids didn't arrive in Britain for a couple thousands years after the main part of Stonehenge was completed.
Q: Oh. Well if not druids, then maybe it was built by aliens? Hard to see how ancient people could move big stones into a circle without the help of aliens. Or maybe Merlin used sorcery to magic them across the sea from Ireland. Or maybe it was built at the intersection of ley lines to generate healing energy, or open a portal to another dimension. What do you think?

A: It smells like the faint whisper of a wooden flute, played low at sunrise on the summer solstice, as the ritual approaches its terrifying conclusion.
Q: Is anyone buried at Stonehenge?
A: Yes-more than a hundred people. These days, it would probably be hard to get council approval to bury more than a hundred people this close to the M4, but times change.
