"Teutonic Wine Company’s 2024 Riesling comes from the high-elevation Pear Blossom Vineyard in Columbia Gorge, Oregon, where cool nights and long hang time let the grapes build flavor without losing their natural snap. The vines here are farmed organically and the winemaking style leans into low-intervention methods, focusing on clarity, tension, and vineyard character rather than polish. This is an off-dry, medium-bodied Riesling that feels both generous and razor-sharp at the same time. The first impression is all yellow pear and soft yellow flowers, followed by stony minerals, floral honey, and that nostalgia-inducing petrichor note that whisps you away. The medium-plus acidity keeps the hint of sweetness perfectly in check, ushering the wine into a bold, enticing, and endless finish that echoes with subtle waves of petrol.
