PAD CONSTRUCTION

Vaughn has gone with a firm front face construction to give a more active rebound so they can get ready for the next shot coming and added HD foam on the inside for improved stability. We also see the use of Quick-slide on the inside edge to make moving through the crease while down in the butterfly even quicker than before and with that HD foam under it will keep you stable. With that firmer foam they were able to go with a thinner outside panel to reduce weight and bulk to provide even better mobility through the crease. Added in the pad is the integrated knee landing pad to the inner core gives you tremendous pad response so you and the pad can move quicker. The leg channel has gone with a wider shape for improved rotation in the the butterfly and keeping you stabilized down in the butterfly is a wider inner knee landing surface. We also have a flat boot profile for quicker pad rotation to the butterfly and we have the instep on top of the skate being reinforced for improved life throughout the season.

STRAPPING & ADJUSTMENT

Keeping it simple for design we have a fully adjustable knee cradle strap to keep the pad connected to the leg with the option to remove the flap and put the strap down the the calf wrap. With the leg channel having a wider shape to keep you connected to the pad with minimal strapping is the Adjustable RRC strapping with a single adjustable calf strap. Attaching to the skate is a bungee system with quick release & connect system that can be adjusted to your preferred length.
