This system is constructed from 100% Brushed 304-stainless steel and features adjustable brushed, black or carbon Active Autowerke double walled tips, making it ideal both for 2-door and 4-door models. And now the improved sound becomes more pronounced when the valve is opened by the ECU.

The Active Autowerke F22 235i Gen 2 BMW Rear Exhaust System provides an increase in horsepower, better sound and appearance making it the choice for the avid BMW enthusiast. The system is a straight-through design providing substantial improvements to gas flow over the factory exhaust. Our innovative muffler can design provides maximum volume with the exhaust valve open for a true sport sound. This exhaust delivers a wide-open sound, a solid 15+hp boost and key gains in the midrange with the valve open while the sound comes out non intrusive with a rich mellow tone with the valve closed. Just like replacing the BMW factory rear exhaust, the Active Autowerke BMW Performance rear exhaust does it in much the same way, if not better by using a much beefier, heavy duty TORCA style exhaust clamp. TORCA clamps are known for their strength and sealing capabilities to make that tight seal. Other features like height adjustable mounting tabs make this exhaust easy to install.
