Improving upon the technology of the renowned T2 while cutting out unnecessary complications, the T1 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone from sE Electronics is a quality studio condenser mic with a fixed cardioid pickup pattern and a 1" titanium capsule. 33% stiffer and more than 300% lighter than gold, the titanium-sputtered diaphragm offers a superior transient response, ideal for drums, cymbals, and bass recording applications.

The T1 features an impressive low noise and a whopping 157 dB max SPL with the attenuation pad engaged, allowing it be used on a very wide array of sources, from whisper quiet to extremely loud. With the 80 or 160 Hz low-cut filter, you can eliminate rumbling and footfall noise. Both the pad and high-pass filter utilize metal switches, rather than delicate plastic, and the whole enclosure is handmade at sE Electronics' factory, providing a dent-proof housing that will survive years of intensive use. This microphone includes a shockmount, a metal case, a thread adapter, and an sE Electronics logo sticker.

Little Brother of the Renowned T2
Drawing from the well-regarded design of the T2 multipattern condenser microphone, the T1 offers the same performance with a few improvements and a fixed cardioid pattern.
  • Titanium-sputtered 1" mylar diaphragm offers superior transient response over gold-sputtered capsules
  • True condenser technology with high-precision parts for excellent sound quality
  • Improved self noise, from 13 dBA on the T2 to only 9 dBA on the T1
  • Enhanced dynamic range over the T2 (128 instead of 124 dB)
  • Each capsule is handcrafted and individually tuned in sE Electronics' own factory
Precise Cardioid Pattern
Swapping out the multipattern design of the T2 for the cardioid capture of the T1 offers improved off-axis rejection and a more affordable mic without sacrificing sound quality.
  • Minimizes signal bleed from unwanted sources, especially helpful in untreated spaces
  • Ensures high gain before feedback across the whole frequency range
  • Enhances directivity from the source by preventing coloration from indirect reflections and reverb
Switchable Attenuation Pad
The T1 sports the same pad with metal switches found on the T2, providing:
  • An extended dynamic range, up to 148 dB
  • Greater range of applications due to wider SPL resistance
  • Support for close miking of loud sources such as electric guitars, brass instruments, and kick drums
Switchable Low-Cut Filter

The improved high-pass filter on the T1 changes values to 80 and 160 Hz for improved versatility. With the high-pass filter, you can eliminate low-frequency rumble or footfall noise. It also helps compensate for excessive bass when using close-miking techniques.

What I've been looking for
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
Just got my Nero Ball. Only used it once, but really like it. I've tried other "ball on a string" type toys, with unsatisfactory results. I'll be using it as a training reward, and my boy, who is a pretty ferocious tugger, is going to learn 2 new things with this ball. 1st, to target the ball instead of the rope, and 2nd, that it's for a little gentle tugging instead of the full throttle stuff he does otherwise. After our 1st session with the Nero Ball, he's picking up on the new rules quickly. We'll see how it does long term, but I think this is one I'll stay with. *UPDATE* Been using my Nero Ball for a month now. I'm tempted to call it the 'Hero Ball' because it's just that terrific!! For me, the key has been putting in the time to allow both myself & my dog to develop the skill to use this tool smoothly. May sound strange, but using a toy as a training reward requires practice, and each different toy configuration requires different handling. It's time well spent - we're both having a lot of fun! Kudos to the designer of this ball. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the length & material of the rope (just the right length that the dog won't step on it; material is easy on the hand while still being tough enough to withstand a few toothy grabs; the loop is the perfect size to grab for a little tug or to pass the ball through to slip-knot it onto a belt loop). The ball is also just right. The knobs make it non-slip, the rubber eliminates tennis ball fuzz concerns, and being semi-hard and hollow makes it slightly compress-able, which makes it a higher value reward than a solid ball that can't be compressed. While this ball will not work for every application or for every dog, if you carefully read & understand the information provided and don't expect it to work outside those parameters, you will be pleasantly surprised by a very well designed, well constructed tool that you can use to enhance your training or play sessions with your dog.

Nice toy
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
This product is generally durable and easy to throw. However, the original rope knot came undone after just four throws, per my wife. Unfortunately, my knot-tying skills are limited to fishing knots and slip knots, which is on me. While I can't give a perfect score, I believe it deserves a 4.5 out of 5 stars due to the knot issue. A simple solution would be to apply heat shrink tubing over the knot and heat it to secure it, which would enhance its reliability and potentially elevate the rating to a perfect five stars.

Our German Shepherd loves it!
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
Order arrived promptly and in good condition. Our GSD barely let us get it out of the package before wanting to play with it. Works great as training reward and for fetch games. Been using it for three weeks, and it is holding up well.
