Natalie Clein adds a remarkable collection of Saint-Saëns' music for cello and orchestra to her impressive discography. Clein first came to prominence when she won the BBC Young Musician of the Year award in 1994; it is appropriate that she performs the music of an extraordinary child prodigy. The first cello concerto has always been one of Saint-Saëns' most popular pieces, Casals choosing it for his London debut in 1905. It is a gloriously playful piece that carries the listener along on a melodic and emotional rollercoaster, from the jaunty opening to the eloquence of the second movement minuet, with a persistent yearning threading it's way throughout. The second concerto will be less familiar to listeners. The soloist for whom it was written, Joseph Hollman, was an energetic, muscular player and Saint-Saëns seems here to turn his back on the suave style of the first concerto. When Saint-Saëns' pupil and friend Gabriel Fauré chose the concerto as a Conservatoire test piece, the composer was duly grateful, but admitted 'it will never be as well-known as the first; it's too difficult'. This it certainly is, with many solo passages, huge leaps and runs that require two staves to accommodate them, and a large amount of double-stopping. Natalie Clein meets these challenges with marvelous technique, musicianship and the passion for which she has become so well known.

Works well, tastes great and it’s non-toxic
Flavor Name: Mint, Size: Pack of 1 (4 Ounce)
So far I love the fresh and clean feeling I get with this toothpaste. I love that it’s non-toxic. I even pair it with a boar bristle wooden toothbrush to keep all of the micro plastics out of my system. My younger daughter who is 7 started using it and she says it’s not too minty for her but it definitely freshens your breath and whitens teeth well, keeps cavities away.

Smooth, mild-flavored fluoride-free toothpaste that’s easy to use daily
Flavor Name: Mint, Size: Pack of 1 (4 Ounce), Flavor Name: Mint, Size: Pack of 1 (4 Ounce)
I’ve been using this toothpaste twice a day and it’s a good option if you’re looking for something fluoride-free that isn’t gritty and has a mild mint taste. The texture is smooth and spreads easily, and the flavor is clean without being too strong. I used it with a soft toothbrush, and it rinses clean without leaving any heavy or chalky feeling afterward. The 4 oz tube also lasts a reasonable amount of time with regular use. Pros: • Mild mint flavor that isn’t overpowering • Smooth, non-gritty texture • Easy to use consistently Con: • Didn’t feel noticeably different compared to other similar formulas I’ve tried Overall, this works well as a daily fluoride-free toothpaste for someone who prefers a gentle flavor and smooth texture.
