The Connelly Rocket takes all the knowledge and design principles that went into the flagship C1 and tailors it to suit the recreational skier and handle like a dream at 28-32mph anywhere on the lake and river. With 58 years of history, the Rocket brings together a ski that gives a high-end performance in a balanced setting. Thanks to a wider platform to pair with an altered sidewall height, the ski has the ability to carry a consistent speed across the wash without feeling overbearing while still giving you that tight, controlled turn that is a staple of the bigger, badder brother. Disrupting water flow is critical to the Rocket's smooth feel, even in rougher waters, where the v-tech and hybrid base finish work to disrupt water across the base of the ski rather than through the rail. Finally, exclusive to the Connelly range is the signature VersaTail, providing you with a range of tail options to adapt the ski to your style, whether that is altering handling in the turn or changing feel across the wash.
The Connelly Tempest just got turbocharged. For 2026, Connelly’s flagship performance boot is back with a serious upgrade featuring the all new GAIA Foam liner for a soft, plush feel against your skin. Slip in and feel the difference from the very first set. Enhanced 3D molded construction adds structure and response, giving you a tighter connection to your ski and more control through every carve. Dual lace zones let you fine-tune the fit across your foot and ankle, while the molded toe with stretch panel adapts to a wide range of foot shapes for a secure, comfortable hold.

Waterski Features

Rocker

  • Continuous Rocker - Through the tip and tail allows the ski always to provide a constant level of speed across the wash and allows for a smooth, comfortable turn and drive through the wash while still having the ability to keep that speed into your leading edge easily.
  • Increased Rockerline - Mostly in the tip and tail, allows the DV8 to move from edge to edge with considerable ease.

Flex

  • Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) - 6/10
  • An altered flex pattern bucks the trend and makes the ski softer, working with the overall design of the ski to increase performance.

Core

  • Closed Cell PU Core – The most well-known core in waterskiing, with a tighter knit construction to reduce weight while remaining durable and providing a slightly softer feel meaning you can ski for longer, feeling less tired, while also getting more flex into turns and less rebound when crossing the wash

Laminates

  • Fibreglass Laminates – The most forgiving top layer you can get, a simple fibreglass laminate allows the ski to provide a comfortable flex and smooth arcing turns.

Shape

  • Increased Tip Width - helps to generate speed but gives you a more stable platform to initiate and pull through turns and have more control while doing so.
  • Variable Bevel - A sharper bevel through to the front binding of the ski that transitions to a round bevel in the tail allows the ski provides lift and speed in the nose across the wash while the tail offers suction for tight turns for the apex of your cut or around the buoy
  • C.A.P.T. (Connelly Advanced Profile Technology) - The original profiled construction, allowing skis to reduce weight and specifically tailor a flex pattern to various points in the ski
  • Wider Platform - Designed to allow the ski to perform and handle in the turns at slower ski speeds

Concave

  • Full Edge-to-Edge Concave - a full concave throughout the whole width of the ski creates a fluid motion and greatly supports your cut, allowing you to focus solely on where you want to place the ski.
  • V-Tech - A greater angled V-shaped step that reduces drag and resistance on the water while also providing directed water flow, so now you can get even deeper into those turns without the worry of losing your edge
  • Wider Tunnel - A more stable profile that allows for a greater volume of water flow that also acts to displace more water and increase speed.

Other Features:

  • Versa Tail - The patent-pending feature that is the centrepiece of the DV8, an adjustable tail. This change in tail geometry allows you to change your ski based on your style.
    • VT Tail - The stock Connelly tail shape is designed to give a balanced tail depth across the wash and into turns
    • VS Tail - A square tail shape designed to add lift and support, as well as increase ski speed
    • VR Tail - The round tail shape allows the ski to sit deeper in the water into and through the turn, giving faster turning and fewer tail blowouts
  • Hybrid Base - A polished tip and a micro-textured tail, blending and working together to provide speed across the wash and reduce turn resistance.
  • Viper 2.0 Fin System
  • Made in the USA cause, Merica'

        Such a well developed story.
        Format: Kindle
I LOVE this book. She does such a good job of researching that you never question if she knows anything about search and rescue dogs. The characters were amazing(as usual). She rapped it up nicely BUT I’m really really hoping she makes a sequel. There’s just so much more I want to know/see happen with these characters after this.

A heartfelt exploration of family in all of its forms
        Format: Hardcover
This novel follows a young woman named Kira Bennett, who was found by Cady Bennett and her search and rescue dogs out in the woods. Apparently, Kira had been living alone and wild in the woods but for how long and why, nobody knows. Kira remembers bits and pieces of her life in the forest but has no memories of before that time. Kira is adopted by the Bennett family and learns the family business: Search-and-Rescue. Working alongside Cady, Cady's son Jude and their neighbor Free, Kira trains search-and-rescue dogs and she hopes to perform rescues herself eventually. It's worth mentioning that Kira has a difficult time connecting with people, does not like making eye contact or being touched and her "wild" side often overtakes her. She's definitely more comfortable with dogs than with people. Soon, Kira and the others kids find themselves involved in a real live search and rescue when Cady's estranged father finds her and asks for her help in locating a little girl who disappeared in Sierra Glades National Park. Kira soon becomes obsessed with the case, having been in the same situation herself — being lost in the wild, alone. As they search for the girl, several strange events occur leading everyone to discover that there is a lot more to this case than a straightforward child lost in the woods and danger soon mounts for those involved. Moreover, the case has triggered old memories for Kira — chilling memories — which begin to overwhelm her. Then, secrets about Kira's true nature, the Bennett family and about what happened to her come to light causing her to confront some painful truths. What I found especially fun about this story were the layers upon layers of mysteries that the story presented: there's the mystery of Kira's past and her real family; the mystery of who Jude's real father is; the mystery of the animosity between Cady and her father; the mystery of Gabriel, the strange boy living with Cady's father; and of course, the mystery of the lost girl. Just about everyone is hiding something. Though there's a lot going on here, the plot is well-thought out, easy to follow and downright compelling as it's a suspenseful story with plenty of twisty surprises. I also loved the inclusion of the dogs in this story and how integral they were to the plot line. The strong bond between the teens and their canines was heartwarming. I enjoyed learning about rescue dogs and their training and thought that this added a rich element to the story. But mostly, this book was a heartfelt exploration of family in all of its forms, whether it be human or canine and teaches that a family created out of love can often be just as strong as a family formed by blood. All in all, I thought the Lovely and the Lost was wildly entertaining with relentless pacing, richly developed and empathetic characters, and a satisfying conclusion rendered this an undeniable page-turner. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher Freeform for the advanced reader copy in return for an honest review!

        Perfect for Serious Students!
        Format: Paperback
As it states in the product details, the DSAT Prep book is great for students who already score 600 and higher. As a teacher and tutor of the SATs (among other standardized exams), I needed more practice sets outside of the Barron's, The Princeton Review, and The College Board publications, which tend to be more mindful of beginner learners. I wasn't confident that the modules and questions from these texts were sufficiently challenging strong students. The DSAT from Edenbrook Learning removed that doubt. I also appreciate the simplicity of the layout of the text: literally 4 tests with respective answer keys, raw score conversion, and explanations. There's no fluff — perfect for my needs. Will recommend to colleagues and students alike!
