As I awaited anxiously to hear from my son as they were quickly packing their most precious possessions to escape the flames of the Eaton Fire, I prayed, I cried and I prayed some more...
Phone service was down... time seemed to have passed slower than it ever had before... I picked up my tools to create and focus my thoughts on something positive and began to paint a piece to represent the events that were transpiring...
This piece represents that even in the midst of catastrophe...
That “From the Ashes, Rise Hope”… Beautiful flowers will grow again… Even in the darkest moments (Black flower) there can be hope that will bring joy (Orange pistil)
He and his family are finally in their new home… Today marks one week… The road was tough… But Beautiful things are on the horizon 🙏❤️🫶🏼
