The Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II is Nikon’s latest evolution of their professional standard zoom. Designed for creators who demand top performance, it combines premium S-Line optics, a constant f/2.8 aperture, and the world’s first internal zoom design in a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. At only 675 g, it’s the lightest in its class making it perfect for travel, events and all-day shoots.

Professional Zoom, Redefined

This lens stands out as a best-in-class full-frame zoom. Its internal zoom mechanism ensures consistent handling and balance, while preventing barrel extension during focal length changes. The result is smoother operation, improved reliability and a cleaner shooting experience - whether for stills or video.

Built for Versatility

With robust weather sealing and fewer moving parts exposed to dust or moisture, this lens is designed to withstand demanding environments. It’s an ideal choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike who need dependable gear that works anywhere.

  • Internal zoom for stable handling
  • Dust- and drip-resistant construction
  • Balanced for gimbals and rigs

Next-Level Autofocus

The upgraded AF system delivers quicker, quieter and more accurate performance. Tracking fast-moving subjects is seamless, making it suitable for action, wildlife, portraits and documentary-style shooting.

  • Faster scanning speeds at telephoto end
  • Quieter focusing, even at maximum AF speed
  • Enhanced tracking while zooming

Exceptional Optical Quality

The refined optical design uses ED glass, dual aspherical elements and Nikon’s advanced coatings (Meso-amorphous, ARNEO and Fluorine). This ensures outstanding sharpness, reduced flare and ghosting, and faithful colour reproduction in any light.

Smooth Cinematic Bokeh

With its new 11-blade rounded diaphragm and constant f/2.8 aperture, the Nikon Z 24-70mm produces beautifully smooth background separation. Portraits, nightscapes and cinematic video all benefit from its natural, refined rendering.

Close-Up Flexibility

The Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II isn’t a macro lens, but it focuses surprisingly close. Minimum focusing distances are just 0.24 m at 24mm and 0.33 m at 70mm, with up to 0.32x reproduction ratio - perfect for creative close-ups and detail shots.

Precision Controls

  • De-clickable Control Ring - Choose tactile clicks for precise setting adjustments, or smooth, silent stepless control for video work.
  • Dual L-Fn Buttons - Two customisable buttons, perfectly positioned for horizontal or vertical shooting.
  • Focus-Limit Switch - Restrict focusing to 0.33 m and beyond for faster, more consistent performance across the zoom range.
  • Fluorine Coating - A protective layer repels dust, grease and moisture, keeping the front element clean and easy to maintain.
  • HB-117 Lens Hood with Filter Window - Adjust rotating filters without removing the hood. Ideal for variable ND filters when filming.
  • 77 mm Filter Thread - Compatible with a wide range of 77 mm filters, matching the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S for convenient filter sharing.

Good book for children, an abundance of information
Format: Paperback
This book is ideally for children who will be traveling to London. It's very packed with information and places to visit, almost to an overwhelming way. The book starts with a fill-in section for children to fill out who's traveling and how they're getting there. It follows with some information and history of London, including a mention of Hamleys Toy Store (I wished they had put more about Hamley's in there -- it's one of the largest toy stores in the world!). It delves into how you could get around in London-- by Bus, Tube or Taxis. It continues with the array of tourist attractions that you can visit in London, starting with Buckingham Palace. The list includes the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Gherkin, the House of Parliament, and Trafalgar Square. It mentions the numerous theme parks, zoos and aquarium that you could visit. For children that enjoy a real scare, the book mentions the London Gundeon and London Bridge Experience, which could actually be too scary for children (there are actors there with mock-chainsaws that chase you!). Towers the end, it informs you about the London Eye -- essentially, a large version of a Ferris Wheel. I would say that this should go towards the beginning of the book because it should be one of the first things done to better see where everything lays out in the city. The book mentions shopping spots, including Oxford Street, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, and Piccadilly. I had wished they mentioned the Camden Markets -- where there is great street food and you can bargain for your souvenirs. Camden was an essential part to my shopping list. The book also mentions the numerous museums and theaters that London have. It's impossible to mention all of them, but it hits the children-focused ones. The book tries to involve the children in the abundance of information it has. Like I said, it's almost overwhelming, but London itself is quite overwhelming. There's no way to be able to inform anyone of London without this much information, so this book is manageable and great for children. They could have focused a bit more on some items, but then they'd leave out other items. It did a good job trying to level out the fight of quantity vs quality amongst the tourist attractions mentioned. *** I have received this item at a discounted rate for my honest, detailed review. ***
